NAOMI
"So, did I earn a real date?"
Sin and I stood at my car door, him refusing to let my hand go, although I'd tugged at it twice now.
"I was on my best behavior and kept you laughin'."
Smiling, I agreed with a nod. "A deal's a deal."
Sin smiled as he pulled me in for a hug.
"Where do you plan on taking me? I came to this restaurant because some of the players said it was very lowkey. I like to stay out of the way as much as possible during the season. Allthat negative energy put out by some of the gossip blogs and people who are just nosey as fuck tends to fuck up the team morale. I'm aiming for a championship this year, so I gotta move accordingly."
Sin's fingers grazed my lips. "I heard what you said, but you sound sexy as fuck, and I got lost in it."
Smacking my teeth, I pushed at his hard chest.
He snickered and brought me closer. "How about I make you dinner?"
Immediately, I shook my head. "I'm not coming to your place."
"Why not?" He chuckled.
"It's a setup, is why," I answered.
Sin chortled.
I grinned. "Exactly."
"Nah, that's not why. I find what you said funny."
His hands skirted down my back until he'd reached the small of my back. I thought we were standing pretty close until he brought me closer. I felt his dick through his jeans, sparking my insides.
"I find it funny 'cause I don't have to seclude you in my four walls to get you to do as we both please." Sin's eyes held every sin hewoulddo to me as he seductively spoke. "The minute you open up to me, it's gon' be a wrap."
"That's what you say," I countered. "I'm a busy woman, so don't expect me to be available at your every beck and call."
"I'm a busy man, so I fully understand."
"What is it you do?" I decided to ask, remembering what PJ had said in the car. Pointedly, I eyed his Maybach, which Zoo and PJ stood by. They were in deep conversation, which had me curious. Neither of them committed a felony tonight, so I was really itching to know how their dinner went.
"I own a construction and architecture firm along with Zoo and our cousin, Brooklyn," he responded.
My eyes snapped back his way. "No offense, but construction and architecture allow you to affordthat?"
"None taken." Sin chuckled. "My family has a bit of a crazy-ass history... One that I won't bore you with. However, JSC has been around for quite some time. We cater to some pretty wealthy clients, so business is always on go."
"I wanna be bored," I said, making him laugh. "What kinda crazy history? Like strait-jacket crazy, or..."
"Nah, baby." He laughed. "More like Godfather-type history."
Eyes bucking, I questioned, "Really?"
He grinned and confirmed.
"Damn," I mumbled. "Peeg's ass was right."
Sin busted out laughing. "Right about what?"
