Jana’s uncertainty enraged Diesel even more. Rebel had put her on the spot with her fucking games. Jana wanted to please her but didn’t want to upset him.

Furious with Rebel, he started toward her, intending to shake her now rather than later.

Instead, Rebel clocked his fucking jaw the moment he reached her, then stomped his fucking foot.

He reached for her again, but she dodged him and jumped on a chair, then on the fucking table, allowing every motherfucker there to see her.

Diesel took another step toward her, so he’d snatch her off the fucking table.

“I will kick you in your motherfucking face, Diesel,” she warned.

“You need to fucking cover up,” he snapped. “So does Jana.”

“No, fuck face, what Jana needs is someone to stomp Heidi, Yarrow, and all those fucking bitches except the two that are crying the most.”

Diesel glanced over his shoulder. Fia and Tauriel had frozen and were now sobbing.

“Jana was right there, not saying a peep, not knowing what the fuck to do while they called her names and plotted to have sex with you. I haven’t lost my fucking mind,” Rebel continued. “Theyhave. If Jana doesn’t know to fight fire with fire and you aren’t interested in protecting her, then you’re more of a miserable motherfucker than I thought.”

“Exactly whose idea was the bikini, Rebel?” Diesel gritted, walking helplessly as Bishop walked to the table and held out his hand, helping Rebel down.

“I’m tired,” she said, instead of answering. “I’m going home.”

“I’ll walk you there,” Kaia volunteered.

“That’s okay,” she said. “I’ll find my flip-flops and go.”

“I don’t mind,” Kaia said. “I can get your flip-flops. Just tell me where you left them, Rebel.”

“No, it’s fine, Kaia.” Rebel glanced away. “I don’t want you to walk me home. Stay with your fucking girlfriend.” She pointed at Fia. “Or your fuck buddy. Whatever. Just leave me alone.”

Eyes widening, Kaia paled. “I don’t know what—”

“Fuck you.” Rebel’s eyes glistened. “I don’t ever want to fucking hear your fucking voice.”

“Reb, whatever you think I did—” Kaia started.

“No thinking in it,” she said. “Iknow. Heidi said you slept with Fia again.”

Fuck.

“It isn’t what you—”

Rebel’s glare shut Kaia up.

“It didn’t mean anything,” he told her. “Just let me explain—”

“You’re a grown man,” Heidi said. “She’s just a kid. Unless she wants to fuck you, she can’t deny that you have needs.”

Rebel blinked, tears spiking her lashes.

Diesel exchanged a glance with CJ, finding the same worry in his little brother’s eyes that he felt.

“As much as it fucking pains me to agree with any of these fucking bitches, she’s right, Kaia.” Rebel swallowed, her nose red, devastation on her face. “If you need sex, you shouldn’t have asked me to go steady with you.”

“You’re the best thing that ever happened to me, Reb.”

“I’m a motherfucking human girl, not your fucking golden ticket,” she shrieked. “The one fucking thing I ask of you was to be honest.”
