As soon as his gaze lands on my face, the smirk drops along with his jaw. One finger slowly traces the left side of my face, skirting around the little silver hoop in my nose. “What did you do, baby?”

My teeth dig into my bottom lip, nerves consuming me. My bond with Parker is a mess of emotions from both of us, but the other three are quiet, keeping to themselves to let us have this moment. “I wanted us to match.”

He opens and closes his mouth several times, but no sound comes out. Clears his throat once, twice, a third time before he’s finally able to speak and when he does, his eyes are glossy. “You pierced your nose to match me?” The question is raspy and a little choked despite his best efforts.

I nod. “That was one of the first things that caught my eye and made me realize you weren’t your brother. I remember thinking how much I liked it and wishing I had one, too.”

Parker’s eyes blaze with heat as the air around us sweetens with the scent of salted caramel and before I realize he moved, he’s jumped the couch and thrown me over his shoulder. “I’m going to spank our omega for keeping secrets and then spend the rest of the night spoiling our sweet girl with orgasms for being so perfect if you assholes want in,” he calls over his shoulder.

The sounds of choked laughter and shuffling feet follow, and I giggle as blood rushes to my head. If being myself and going overboard to surprise one of my alphas gets methiskind of treatment? I’m ready for a lifetime of secrets and surprises.

“Do you think she’ll like it?” Mack asks, wringing his hands together for the millionth time. I’ve never seen the big guy look so nervous, not even during the draft. After a wild season and a third NCAA championship under his belt, McKenzie Madden was drafted as the first overall pick to the Boston Blacktips. We were all thrilled since Boston is less than a two hour drive from Sunday Harbor, which means we can be with Mack as often as our schedule allows.

The last eight months with Posey have been more incredible than I could have ever imagined. The sweet omega keeps us on our toes in the best ways, and she’s exactly what this pack needed to feel whole. And today, we make it official.

Keeping our new pack house secret from our omega has been hell, but it’ll all be worth it to see her face when she realizes it’s her dream home. Lainey helped us get access to Posey’s Pinterest and anything she wanted, she got. The white, two story beachfront home has light blue shutters and a pastel pink front door, not to mention flowerseverywhere. Mack and Paxton have been out here for over a month making everything picture perfect for our girl, but it never feels like enough.

Turning to Mack, I brush my sweaty hands on my jeans and do my best to make my smile look reassuring instead of nauseated. I’m as nervous as he is, but someone has to keep it together. “She’s going to love it. We’ve done everything exactlyhow she would want it, and if she doesn’t, then we change it until she does. But we know her, Mack. And you know how badly she’s been wanting a pack house.”

While the apartment was fine for a while, it got cramped very fast. The new pack house has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, including an attic nest with an en-suite. It’s probably more space than we need, but one of those bedrooms and bathrooms is a separate guesthouse out back for when Posey’s family comes to visit. Everyone has their own space this way, even if we’ll most likely end up in the nest or Posey’s room most nights. The nest is the only thing we didn’t touch, wanting to finally have the nest building experience as a pack since Posey wasn’t able to have one at the apartment and she built hers before she met us.

My phone buzzes in my pocket, bringing me back to reality.

Parker

2 min. Ready?

Me

Ready.

“They’re two minutes out,” I inform Mack. Poor guy looks like he’s about to keel over or vomit on the hydrangeas, so I take two large steps toward him until I can grip his arms and make him look at me. “Feel your bond. Feel how happy she is,” I remind him. At first it was strange getting used to having all of this lightness in my chest. After so long only having my own cynicism as company, Posey’s effervescent happiness is exactly what I didn’t know I needed. I just have to brush along the bond in my mind or touch the bite mark on my neck and she sends back a pulse of joy that’s so pure I can’t help but smile. Everyone around me noticed the change during my tenure as an adjunct professor, but they refuse to say anything for fear of me returning tomy surly ways.

That’s fine by me. Now that I’ve graduated my only concern is my omega and our pack, and I hope they always know just how happy I am to have them.

Posey’s pretty blue Bronco rounds the bend in the road, Paxton at the wheel. I can’t see Parker or Posey which means he’s probably keeping her distracted in the backseat.

Lucky asshole.

It’s fine, because if all goes according to plan, Posey will be surrounded by all of us and naked except for one thing by the time the sun goes down.

As soon as they pull in the driveway, the back door pops open. Parker leads a blindfolded Posey out, and we all watch on in amusement as she huffs and puffs, pretending to be irritated with the situation. In reality, I feel her bursting with excitement through the bond. Her pink hair is down in messy waves around her face, and she’s wearing a pretty white dress that makes her tan skin glow with sandals that make her a few inches taller than usual. Our omega looks as beautiful as always, and a cursory glance around tells me we’re all smiling like the lovestruck idiots we proudly are. “Okay, okay,” she giggles. “Where are we? Can I take this thing off now?”

Parker looks to me, and I nod. He whips the soft fabric away from her eyes with a flourish, and I have a front row seat to watch Posey’s eyes light up even as they water. “What is this?”

I hold my arms out wide, showing off the house. “Welcome home, little doll.”

Her hands fly up to cover her mouth as she gasps, taking in the house with more focus. Rather than rent a pack house on campus, we decided as a pack to purchase a house nearby and make Maine our home base for the next few years. Posey loves it here and while she was more than willing to transfer to be closer to our big guy, he begged her to stay here where she has a support system. The twins’ parents and sister, Lainey, and even Mack’s parents are all here at least some of the time, and with her being so far away from her own family, we knew it was important to give her a home base.

When this house went on the market, we knew it was the one. Renovations took a few months to complete and then we had to decorate and get everything just right, but now it’s summer, the flowers are blooming, and it’s a beautiful day to finally do what we’ve been waiting months for. “We had some help,” Pax murmurs in her ear. “But we wanted you to have a home here. A pack home for all of us, including Mack when he has down time or in the off season.” He’s wrapped his arms around her for support, while Mack and Parker are at my sides, eagerly awaiting her reaction.

Mack nods furiously. “I bought a little apartment in Boston, just barely big enough to fit us all, but I’ll be here every spare moment I can, and you’re welcome in Boston anytime, pretty girl. Baseball is my passion and will be a wonderful career, butyouare my home, Posey. No matter how long I’m gone, wherever I am, my heart is with you.”

Posey throws herself into Mack’s arms, sniffling, and I nod to him to lead us out back where the real surprise is. “We’re excited for you to see the house, but we have something to show you in the backyard first, if that’s okay?” I ask, stroking a soothing palm down her back. She turns her head to smile at me, nodding silently. I’m sure this is a lot to take in, but we’re not done just yet.

Posey

I have a house! My alphas bought us a freaking pack house and I had no idea. When Parker coaxed me into a blindfold earlier, I just assumed I was in for a kinky ride and didn’t ask any questions. Now I’m wishing I would have, then maybe I would have been at least semi-prepared for the onslaught of powerful emotions.
