Dueling for dominance with his tongue for a moment, I broke long enough to say, “I love you too. I’ve always loved you.”

Timothy’s lips curled into mine with a smile, and I smiled back before I could stop myself, holding him to me and savoring the way his abs tightened and dragged over my stomach. I laid a hand over his chest, thumb brushing over his nipples. He sucked in a sharp breath, the sound low and wrecked, and it went straight through me.

We rolled together, all heat and mouths and hands, until I was back where I wanted to be, buried deep in his throat while my hand worked him with a steady, ruthless rhythm. When he lifted his head, my cock slid free with a wet drag. I met his gaze. What used to be warm brown had gone dark.

“Please,” he rasped.

The word hit me harder than anything ever had.

I didn’t hesitate. I hauled him up, carried him down the hall while his mouth worked my neck, his teeth scraping just enough to make my vision spark. The second I set him on the bed, he lifted his legs, hips tipping up in open invitation.

Timothy held out a hand and the nightstand opened, a bottle of lube rising and rushing to his trembling hand. I was already wet from his mouth, but I greedily took it from him, slickingwhere I wanted to go. Timothy gasped as the cool liquid hit his exposed backside. I took my time, making sure he was as teased as he was slippery before dropping the bottle on the ground.

I swallowed, slow and deliberate, pressing the head of my cock where he wanted me most.

When I pushed past the tight ring of muscle, he shouted. The sound tore out of him, raw and unguarded.

“That’s it,” I growled, jaw tight. “Take it. Take all of me.”

He stretched around me, breath breaking, hands gripping the sheets, needing something solid to hold onto. I sank in until I was fully seated inside him, and he gasped in pleasure and pain.

“Gods,” he breathed.

Sweat dripped down my spine, my arms shaking as I fought the instinct to drive into him hard and fast. Holding back took everything I had.

“There’s been no one else,” he said suddenly, voice rough.

I stilled.

He wasn’t asking. He wasn’t bargaining. He needed me to hear it.

“Not for me either,” I said, and meant it.

His throat worked. “But Seth?—”

“No.” The word ripped out of me. “Tonight he…he compelled me. Made me come to you.”

His hands clenched in the sheets. His eyes burned.

He leaned up, forehead resting against mine, and for a second we just breathed each other in. Or I did. He shook beneath me, like he was holding back something violent and incandescent.

I kissed him to stop us both from thinking.

I pulled out almost all the way, then pushed in slow and shallow. He gasped into my mouth, every nerve lighting up. I did it again. And again. Each thrust landed exactly where he needed it, where he couldn’t hide from it.

My pace turned punishing. Controlled. Relentless.

The last time we’d done this, it had wrecked us both.

Even when I’d been mortal, I’d turned his world upside down. But now my strength matched his. My body could take him. Hold him. Keep him.

I didn’t stand a chance, and neither did he.

He wrapped his hand around himself, breath breaking as he stroked in frantic, uneven pulls. Sweat slid off my hair, splashing his stomach, and the sight of it nearly undid me.
