Joshua gasped again, and Colin felt fingernails drag down his back. A shrill cry poured from Joshua's throat, and his body clenched in a massive spasm as he came. His eyes were shut, his neck bent back and yet another hoarse cry reached Colin's ears as Joshua's body shuddered and tightened again and again in rapture.
“Yes!” Colin choked in ecstasy. “Yes!” Nearly sobbing, he pressed his face to Joshua's throat and surrendered the last vestige of his self-control, drowning in the first incredible waves of pleasure. No holding back now. He dissolved into his husband, losing himself in this blinding, pulsing moment of ecstatic release. “Oh god, Josh,” he moaned, feeling his body shudder again and again in rapture as Joshua spilled himself into his hand.
“So good,” Joshua breathed, his body jolted with spasms that squeezed and milked Colin's still throbbing hardness, wrenching cry after cry from Colin's throat.
For a long time, they trembled together, naked skin against naked skin, unable to speak or even think. Finally, still lost in pleasure so intense it seemed it would never stop, Colin turned with Joshua still clasped in his arms. His half-hard erection was still buried deep within his husband’s body, but Colin couldn't bear the thought of letting him go.
Finally, Joshua smiled, his lips pressed against Colin's chest. “Let you?” he murmured. “Letyou?”
Colin’s head moved in a slight shake.
Joshua laughed softly. "Did you get the sense that I planned tostopyou?” he whispered.
“No, baby,” Colin murmured. “It’s not that. I wasn’t even askingyouto let me. More like askinglifeto let me have this one moment when everything…everything…was perfect.”
“Screw life,” Joshua murmured, settling his head on Colin’s shoulder. “This was all you and me. Life can take a fucking number.”
CHAPTERTHREE
ALL ABOARD
Pride flags fluttered in the crisp Seattle breeze, and excited anticipation pulsed through the air as the four friends piled out of their taxi and grabbed their luggage. Colin adjusted his sunglasses and surveyed the scene with a smile. “Perfect place to kick off ourgaycation,” he teased, taking Joshua’s hand.
“I can’tbelieveyou actually used that word,” Joshua told him. “Is the sea air getting to you?”
Colin burst into laughter, grasping Joshua’s arm. “Mea culpa, sweetie. A wave offabulousnesswashed over me, and I couldn’t help myself.”
“Seriously?” Joshua challenged. “Seriously, Colin? Please promise me you won’t spend this entire cruise sounding like a RuPaul reject.”
“Holy crap!” Nate marveled, gawking at the terminal. “This freaking place ishuge!” He looked over his shoulder toward downtown Seattle. “Is that the Space Needle?”
“Gorgeous city,” Joshua muttered, turning to stare at the iconic structure. “I wish we could have seen more of it.”
“We can come back one day if you like,” Colin told him.
At the terminal entrance, a smiling staff member greeted them. "I hope you're ready for the time of your lives!” she exclaimed, then pointed to a huge rolling cart. “If your luggage tags are filled out, you can put your baggage there, and it’ll be delivered to your staterooms. Welcome to the fabulous Pride cruise!”
Colin snickered and nudged Joshua’s arm. “See?” He said in a half-whisper. “Fabulous!” He turned to the receptionist and bowed. “Thank you, lovely lady.”
“You’re in section D-7. Just follow that line to check in,” she said, pointing.
As they inched their way forward, Colin embraced Joshua from behind. “Hey there, pretty boy,” he crooned against Joshua’s ear. “Are you ready to unleash your inner party animal?"
Joshua removed his glasses and gave his husband an exasperated look. "I'm more of a 'quiet night with a good book' kind of guy, as you know.” He leaned toward Colin. “And by the way… so areyou!”
“Notthisweek, I’m not. This week, I’m…” He waggled his sunglasses, then perched them on the end of his nose and smirked. “I’m Colin Hardparty!”
Joshua rolled his eyes. “Oh, lord god.”
Overhearing, Nate mocked. “Hardparty,my ass! You fall asleep in the middle of our euchre game!”
“Hey!” Colin protested. “I’m getting into the gay spirit of things!” He leaned toward Nate, “Getcha PRIIIIDE on, Natey-baby!”
Nate turned to Joshua, his expression blank. “Did you pack duct tape? If not, I’m gonna go buy some while there’s still time.”
“You mean before we sail?”
“No. I mean, before I kill him!”
