“Diamond.” I answered.
“Last name?”
“I don’t know.” I mumbled and regretted the shit immediately because the group of bozo’s snickered.
“So, you just know Diamond?”
“Yeah, Lord,” I looked away. “She gave me her Pikz handle though, so maybe you can use that.”
“Aight,” Kyng nodded. “You ain’t stalkin’ this hoe or no shit are you?”
“She ain’t no hoe, and naw I’m not.” I shook my head. “Not really. I just need to know where the fuck she stay and shit so I can push up on her.”
“So, stalking her basically.” Prynce’s goofy ass said and giggled like a bitch. “You gon’ be an accessory bro, and mama gon’ be pissed.”
“Shut up, P.” Kyng laughed while shaking his head.
“Aight, I warned him, right Sy?”
“Yeah, bruh, you did.”
“Fuck you, Lord,” I laughed. “We cool, dead ass. I ain’t even goin’ straight there. I’m gon’ send her some shit first.”
“Man, this shit here is hilarious.” Jabari shook his head. “What happened to you never chasin’ or settlin’ for a hoe.”
“Keep tellin’ y’all niggas she not a hoe and I ain’t tellin’ y’all to watch your mouths no more either.” I glared at them all. “She cool though. I like talking to her and looking at her fine ass.”
“Man, let us see her, Lord.” Prynce leaned forward. “We need to see who all this fuss is about.”
“Naw,” I shook my head.
“Must be busted.” Sy snickered.
“Busted like that booger faced ass bitch you almost had a baby with, nigga,” I cut my eyes at him, and his smile quickly dropped.
“Facts.” Jay agreed.
“Naw, busted as the hoe Dior’s baby daddy was with.” Prynce said and laughed. “I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that mothafuckin’ hikin’ boot!”
Kyng joined in on the laughter when he said that. I wasn’t there when they ran down on him, but I heard the stories, and my homeboy didn’t let up when he was talking about her.
“Aight, chill out, bro.”
“Yeah, that’s what I thought.” I smirked. “She pretty as hell though.” I pulled up Diamond’s page and let them all look at her.
They all looked for a second or two, passing the phone around until it made it back to me.
“Aight, she straight enough to stalk.” Prynce grinned.
“Fuck up man. But yeah, K, I need you to get that for me.”
“I got you.” He pulled out his phone and began to text. “Give me ‘til the end of the day.”
I grinned and nodded, slipping my phone back in my pocket. It paid to be plugged in and connected to the right mothafuckas. I could have taken my ass back over there and pressed her myself, followed her or some shit to find out where her crib was, but I wanted to go about it the right way. My homeboy was the top dog, and had the ability to find whoever we wanted, sowhy not?
I pulledup to the gas station and threw the shit in park before killing the engine then climbing out. I’d just gotten back to AtlynCity because Kyng came through with the shit that I needed. Diamond still wasn’t responding to a nigga, so I just took that as she wanted to see me in fucking person.
After shutting the door to my car, I strolled inside the store. I peeped the group of niggas huddled on the other end of the store by the bathroom. They were mugging the shit out of me, so I gave the vibes right back to them. I could tell they were gang affiliated because of the flags in their pockets, and they thought they were intimidating, but they had me fucked up. I wasn’t afraid of a mothafuckin’ thing. I was built for this street shit, and if they fucked with me, they’d find out just how serious I was about the shit.
