It’s music to my ears. I want nothing more than to lay her down and take her, but I know I’m not going to want to pull out. This is the right thing to do.

I promised her a first time we would remember. I don’t want that to be because I knock her up like an asshole. We still have so much to work out. There’s no way I’d leave her behind to wait for her gran to die if she’s carrying my baby.

She grabs my wrist and lifts onto her toes. I watch as her eyes roll back, and a look of bliss comes over her face. She falls forward into me as she shakes from her climax.

“That’s my girl. Felt good, didn’t it?” I croon as I pull my fingers from her pussy and bring them to my lips.

She lifts her head to look up at me drunkenly as I hum around my soaked fingers. Her juices taste amazing on my digits. It’s going to kill me, but I’m going to wait.

I wink at her and then peck her lips. My smile grows as she sticks her hands underneath my T-shirt and runs her hands up my sides. Moving my hands to her ass, I begin to sway us to the music once again.

I dip my head for another kiss. This time biting and nipping at her lips. She moans loudly.

“Ya really should keep condoms with ya,” she says sleepily.

I scoff and squeeze her ass. “Yer right. I’ll keep that in mind.”

CHAPTER 16

Summoned

Logan

“Where the fuck is Brooklyn?”I growl as I sit behind my desk in my office at the warehouse.

“He called looking for you earlier. He said something about not being able to reach you on your cell,” Kaye says as she pops her head into my office.

Kaye has been doing a great job, but I get the feeling Felix wants her back home with him. I would feel the same way. However, as long as she’s here in New York, we’re going to keep her safe.

I frown and give her a nod. I have this feeling in my gut: Cole is somewhere doing something he shouldn’t. We’re so close to bringing the Alliance to life.

I can only hope he’s not off doing something that’s going to make me need to kick his ass. My mind goes to Deja. I didn’t think I would have to keep him away from her for so long.

I couldn’t imagine having to be away from Raven for eleven years. It had to be done. I know Cole and his temper.

If Cole knew why we’re keeping the locations for the cousins’ secret, he’d lose his shit, and Oland would be dead before we could accomplish our goals. As guilt begins to settle in, my cell rings on my desk. When I see it’s my granda Oland, I get a sour feeling in the pit of my stomach.

“Cole,” I groan before even answering the call.

“Hello.”

“Aye, Logan. It’s yer granda. What about ye, lad?”

“Hello, Oland. How can I help ya?”

“It’s been too long since ya have been home. I have some things I’d like to discuss with ya. I need ya here in Ireland,” he replies.

I bare my teeth, knowing for sure Brooklyn has caught his attention.Fuck. If I don’t go, there’s no telling what he’ll do to my brother.

“When did ya want to see me?” I bite out in frustration.

“I expect to see ya here tomorrow. I’ll be waiting, lad.”

Without another word, he hangs up. I restrain myself from throwing the phone across the room. Instead, I dial Cole’s ass to find out where the fuck he is.

It goes to voicemail, sending my blood pressure through the roof. I hang up without leaving a message and call LaSalle instead. I need to talk to him and give instructions for what to do just in case my granda has something up his sleeve.

“Fuck, Cole. Fuck. What have ya done?” I fume.
