It’s Kayden. Well, that must mean that Melody gave him this number. I thought for sure she would have had my back on this. I roll my eyes and click the red ignore button. Serves him right.

Over the next few hours, I leave my cell on silent at the bedside table in the master bedroom while I watch reruns ofThe Office. It’s always been my comfort show—I can watch it a million times and it never gets old.

Reaching across to flip over my phone, my eyes widen when I see I have over fifty missed calls and over a dozen text messages from Kayden.

Shit.

Andrei

Soon thatsukawill be mine. (Bitch.)

As soon as my men began watching the Stonewells it became clear they were the ones behind Jess’s new identity, Dani. With enough digging, we were able to infiltrate their defenses and discover that Kayden Stonewell, the infamous owner of Club LAX, was also the fucker that’s been dismantling my rings and stealing the women. Their hacker shut us down pretty quickly, but not before gleaming just enough information on their precious Eden—and we did it without leaving any trace of what we learned. They think themselves gods—that will be their biggest mistake.

“How long will this flight take?” I ask, my patience wearing thin. Flying to some remote little town in upper Wisconsin is inconvenient. Earlier in the day, my men staked out in a parking garage adjacent to Eden and reported Dani making a quick getaway with Melody Stonewell. A few hours later, they told me they were alerted to a sudden flight log from Jaxon Stonewell’s private jet with only one passenger. I knew we couldn’t pass up this opportunity. We may not get another chance as easy as this.

“Four hours, Sir,” the pilot says.

What I find curious is that she would run away from the safety that Kayden and Eden offer. While it’s true we found their location, the place is a fortress disguised perfectly as a rundown warehouse. But what most don’t see is their advanced security system and cameras. The warehouse has an open space around it that makes sneaking into the facility next to impossible. I considered going after the weaker of the three brothers, but it proved easier said than done. Jaxon and Melody might not have a military background, but their home is a stronghold with the latest and greatest technology. The absolute best that money can buy, which is no surprise with the billions that sit in their accounts. They live in a semi-secluded area, and with their security system, no one gets within a mile of their property without them knowing about it.

Not only that but the Stonewells are incredibly powerful men. Further digging revealed James Stonewell and his wife, Emilia, are reigning leaders of the Bonettis. I knew there was no way I would come out on top against all three brothers head-on, so instead I’ve waited for the perfect opportunity to steal her away. Once she’s mine, we’ll take on the Stonewells, one at a time.

My jaw flutters as I think back to the ring Kayden took down today. Once I knew it was their next target, I gave them Vivian as my trojan horse. I knew she wouldn’t make it out of there alive, the stupidpizdawas dispensable after all, but she had one objective and that was to take down Kayden. I didn’t wait to find out the outcome, once I was given the news about the jet Dani took, a flight was secured. Marco warned me the move was too risky. I might be a few hours behind her, and I might be taking a risk by not confirming if Kayden is in fact still alive, but for a pussy that cost me nearly half a million dollars, the chance was worth it.

Soon thesukawould come to heel.

Whether she does so willingly doesn’t matter to me. Actually, I take that back. I wouldlovefor her to fight me. I do love the moment the fear takes over and they become desperate, fighting with everything they have. It’s empowering—no,addicting.

One way or another though, she’ll be choking on my cock on the flight back to California.

Kayden

Icalled Dani more times than I care to count, and every single call was ignored. Even my texts were left on read. I knew she was upset, but I didn’t think she’d ignore me for this long.

Once I got to the airport, I was surprised to find Emilia and James waiting for me on the jet when I boarded. Emilia brought a glass of wine to her lips as she smirked. “Did you really think you would leave without us?”

“What about Melody and Jaxon?” I asked. “I told them to go to you.”

“They did and they’re safe. The Bonettis are a force to be reckoned with, Kayden. I trust my people to keep them protected. Plus, the compound is secure, no one is getting in,” she replied, setting down her glass of wine with an air of nonchalance.

I fought the urge to roll my eyes. I know Emilia is a badass, but I was hoping not to involve my family more than what they already are. If anything happens to them, that’s on me.

“Take a seat, Brother. We’re waiting on one more person,” James said, his slight English accent breaking through. He was old enough when we were adopted that he already had an accent. As we grew up, our time in the States had softened it, but it was still noticeable enough.

“Who else?” I asked, throwing up my hands. “We don’t have time to wait. Andrei could be on his way to Dani right now.”

“Our sources here at the airport gave us information that his flight left nearly thirty minutes ago,” Emilia supplied over the rim of her wineglass.

“Well, fuck, then we really need to leave, Emilia,” I seethed, pacing the small aisle. “He can’t get his hands on her. She isn’t answering my calls or my texts, either.”

A hand clasped on my back and I spun around, ready to lay whoever it was flat on their ass.

“Whoa there, Brother.”

“Jaxon? What are you doing here? Why aren’t you with Melody?”
