Ken detailed his vitals. Duncan Mulligan and Tara Blanchard followed them into the treatment room.
Wes and Tuck rolled Eleanor into another treatment room. Tuck and Sam Baker, with PA Desi Barrett and two nurses, surrounded her.
“Wes?” she called again.
The staff attached monitors and began cutting her clothes free. “Wes, step out,” Tuck asked.
“Ellie, they want me to step out.” He leaned down to hear her.
Eleanor pulled the oxygen mask free. “The program. My notes are in my file cabinet. Don’t delay.”
“Let the medical people help you. I’ll be back as soon as they let me.” Wes kissed her cheek.
