Zach drove Wes to the Center with Saoirse in the back seat. “What the hell was that about? CSI already has a signed contract with them.” Wes drank from a bottle of water Saoirse offered him.
“What did the FBI achieve?” Zach asked.
“Why pull you away from the Center?” Saoirse asked.
“What can only you do at the Center? Was there anything on your schedule out of the ordinary?” Zach pursed his lips.
“I had a supervisor’s staff breakfast scheduled. There was a business association meeting in Leesburg I was planning to attend. I wanted to deal with the worry of our locals.
