Dots appear, then disappear, and reappear once again. I patiently wait as those damn dots keep taunting me, coming and going for nearly a minute that feels more like an eternity.
Wouldn’t you like to know? *thinking face emoji*
Wow, someone is feisty today, but I’m not hating this side of Ender.
Those were a lot of dots for such a short message. Did you debate sending it?
And that is by no means a complaint.
It wasn’t a debate of whether to send it or not…
Ender leaves me hanging with those fucking drama dots lingering as I wait in anticipation. Finally, the bubble pops up, and the fire that instantly lights up my entire body has me wanting to cancel all plans for the day and find Ender instead.
I just couldn’t decide whether I should say what I did or tell you how good I’d make you feel with my cock battering your ass, then how I’d fill you with cum and make you hold it until I tell you to release it while I watch.
But since you’re okay with my first statement, I guess I made the right choice. *person shrugging emoji* *smiling face with halo*
I wipe the bead of sweat from my brow and take a deep breath as I resist the urge to drop everything to bring Ender home with me and lock us away from the world for the next forty-eight hours to ravish each other’s bodies.
I’m going to need to give my phone to Luke for a little while so I don’t ask you to tell me where you are so I can drag you home to my bed, but thanks *sarcasm* for making my dick hard as a rock right before I have to walk into the restaurant.
I’m hoping we can revisit this topic a little later tonight though.
I shut my phone down, not giving him another chance to tempt me—because right now, it wouldn’t take much more to convince me to follow my dick’s current goal.
As soon as I walk into the back office where Luke is working, I do what I need to do before I can change my mind.
“Heads up,” I say to Luke, tossing my phone at him as he looks up at me.
“Whoa. Give a guy a little more of a warning,” he complains when it flies toward him onto the desk. “What’s up with this?” he says, retrieving the phone and holding it up with a scrunched forehead.
“Ender. That’s what’s up.”
“Wait, did you fuck things up already?” Luke’s exasperated tone is not one I like to hear.
“No. The man just fucked with my head—and my dick—through text messages, so you need to hide that thing, or I’ll wind up leaving you here alone for the rest of the day so he can bury his dick in my ass for the foreseeable future.”
My asshole of a best friend roars with laughter to the point of tears at my predicament. “Fuck you, man. I’m going to see if anyone needs help, because I sure as hell am not staying in here with you right now.” I give him the finger for good measure as I walk out the door. I curse under my breath all the way down the hall, dreading the day ahead of me, knowing I’ll be visualizing all the ways I’d let Ender have his way with my body.
Chapter Seven
Innocent Flirting Leads to Sinful Pleasures
Ender
“Guys, I want to make a reservation at Stonewood’s for a Saturday a week or two after they open. Who wants to go with me?”
Kaden’s question takes my attention away from my phone, as I’m beaming with pride that I texted Gabe something so explicit. I was initially scared of sending it because it’s not something I would’ve ever done before, joking or otherwise. I’d been so irritable while I’d waited for Connor to get ready, and Gabe’s sweet good morning message had been a welcome distraction. Then he sent those goofy selfies a little later, and my mood had done a full one-eighty as something resembling butterflies had spread through my entire body. It had sparked something mischievous in me—call it payback for all his innuendos.
“I’ve already promised Jackson and Dakota I’d go with them and their aunts the weekend after they open. Can I take a rain check?” Lanie pouts at her brother, probably disappointed she can’t exactly invite Kaden to join them, since Kaden hasn’t met Luke and Jackson’s aunts yet. I’ve already heard Kaden talk about how important they are to Luke, so I guess it’d be rude for her to invite him to meet them before Luke has had a chance to do it himself.
“You know I’m coming whether you like it or not,” Connor chimes in before he’s even invited to go.
“That goes without saying. Ender, what about you?”
As I turn to Kaden, my first thought is if Gabe would mind me ambushing him at work—especially right after they open, when they’ll probably be incredibly busy.
“You don’t think we’d be distracting them?” I ask Kaden. I hope I’m not being too transparent since no one knows Gabe and I have been getting to know each other for the past week. At least I haven’t told any of my friends yet—I wonder if Gabe has told Luke. I mean, it’s not like this is serious or anything. We’ve only flirted with each other—until just a few minutes ago.
