It's not a bad plan, but it may be difficult. Li Mujin never goes anywhere without his sister, and she is highly skilled, and Li is not to be taken lightly. Killing them would be easier than capturing them, his father texted back.
Enzo pursed his kissable lips. Are you giving me the go-ahead or not?
I'm trusting you, yes. Do not disappoint me.
Enzo nodded.I won't. Trust me, I've been thinking about my plan for a while. I have a spy at their docks in Miami and know they're expecting a shipment. Li will be there, and that's where I'll take him.
Good. Be careful.
I will.
Enzo slipped his phone back into his pocket. "Dad is onboard," he told Cenzo.
"So, we get the crew ready?"
"The Lords in Miami will help play a big part in this," Enzo said.
"I'd be remiss if I didn't bring this up," Cenzo said.
Enzo looked at him. "What is it?"
"What if they retaliate by taking one of ours?"
"I'd be surprised if they could take any of our people. Besides, once we have Li, we can contact Da Han and force him to the table. If he loves his children as much as our intel says he does, then he'll act quickly and not wait to see if he can gain leverage by attempting to kidnap one of us to bring to the table," Enzo said.
Cenzo nodded, then both men turned when the door opened and Dragon re-entered. "Is everything good on your end?" he asked the biker.
Dragon nodded. "My dad is fine with it. We're just helping; this war is between the Triad and the Castiellos for the most part."
Enzo smirked. "That is how it started, but if your club wants a bigger piece of the pie, it's us versus them."
"Just so I know, Xiù Mujin is some bad bitch, right? Like Akane?" Dragon asked.
"That's the story, though I'm not sure if she's on Akane's level," Enzo said.
"I'm so interested in seeing Akari and Akane in action. I keep hearing so much about how deadly they are," Dragon said.
Enzo smiled. "Akari has trained my personal bodyguard, Sergio, so if you want to have a taste, why not enjoy a little sparring match?"
Dragon cocked an eyebrow, then smiled. "It's been a while since I got a chance to cut loose. Sure, let's have at it."
Enzo rose and adjusted his suit. "Follow me."
Chapter eleven
Dragon
DragonfollowedEnzotothe gym where several men were training; all of them looked tough as hell. It was what Dragon had expected from the men of the Castiello family.
"Sergio," Enzo called out, and a teenager turned, then walked over toward them.
"Yes, sir?" Sergio asked.
Dragon looked at the boy, who appeared to be the same age as Angel, his cousin—no more than sixteen or seventeen years old. If this was Enzo's personal bodyguard, he knew he'd be a fool to take the teenager lightly. The boy's body was well developed, with toned muscles corded throughout his limbs. The strict training of Akari was certainly paying off.
"Dragon here wants to test your skill, so how about a friendly sparring match?" Enzo asked, although it wasn't a question nor a suggestion.
Sergio's gray eyes panned over to Dragon, looking the man up and down, then he nodded. "I'd be happy to, sir."
