Harlow implies she’s embracing “the darkness” in interview, in response to question about the meaning of her Apotheosis album

Starts leaving Easter eggs around Apotheosis (i.e., social media posts hinting to upcoming tracks—see Music Journal article dated August 2023—plus callbacks to past and future work in music videos for “Cruel Delights” and “Violent Ends”)—are there others that fans haven’t picked up on yet? Ones that hint to her darker secrets/personal life?

Despite all her questions, Naomi feels like meeting with Trevor and Bobby allowed her to make good progress. It’s clear that something major happened at the end of 2021, an event significant enough to make Harlow cut ties with family and friends and to prompt her to completely reinvent herself over the next year and a half. And, whether she committed murder or not, Naomi is convinced that event hassomethingto do with Jade’s death.

And now she has reason to believe that Colton wasn’t a good boyfriend and that it’s very possible he could have cheated on Harlow with Jade, there’s motive.

Naomi hopes it’s not as clear-cut as that, though. If she’s learned anything from her research, it’s that Harlow is far from a cliché. She might be a killer, but Naomi doesn’t think “scorned woman” is her modus operandi.

Her eyes drift over the board, moving from the Easter eggs to photos, landing on Bill Lever’s. Even though Bobby was unconvinced, she thinks about the possibility of Harlow having killed him as well. Lets herself consider the fact that Harlow could’ve killed three people, which would make her a serial killer. Then, Naomi thinks about how some of the most notorious serial killers left clues, almost wanting the police and public to figure out who they were, so they could get the “glory.”

A chill prickles at the back of her neck as she stares at Harlow’s photo, feeling like she’s trying to tell her something.Go on, figure it out.

Other clues are out there, Naomi is sure of it. She just has to find them, and piece them all together.

HARLOW HAYES ISN’T ALL BAD: HERE’S THE PROOF

By Meg Koestner

09/27/2024

Harlow Hayes’ recent arrest has been dominating headlines, including our own. But with so many articles hinting at her guilt, we thought now was the perfect time for a reminder that Hayes is innocent until proven guilty. And if her track record of giving is any tell on whether or not she did it, then I don’t think she did. But don’t take my word for it. See for yourself by taking a look at some of Harlow Hayes’ most generous moments below.

October 2018

Hayes donates to victims of Hurricane Michael

After the Category 5 hurricane devasted parts of the southeast, Hayes, who was scheduled to perform in the panhandle state that weekend, donated both her time and money to help out victims. Sources claim the star contributed $100,000 to the official victim fund.

December 2018–2019

Hayes grants twenty-five wishes for the Make a Wish Foundation

Harlow went above and beyond during this time, granting twenty-five wishes for the Make a Wish Foundation. She granted a child the Disney World trip of a lifetime, gave away special tickets to her concerts, did meet-and-greets, and even paid a substantial amount toward various medical bills.

March 2020–2021

Hayes helps out during the pandemic

From schools, to hospitals, to charities, Harlow’s reported donations amid the coronavirus crisis totalled over $1 million. Recipients included the Red Cross, the First Responders Fund, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, as well as the Covid-19 relief fund in her home state of Ohio.

August 2022

Hayes supports Haven Animal Shelter with monthly donations

For the past three years, Hayes has been one of the most important donors to a New York City animal shelter, making monthly donations of $1,500. When asked for comment, CEO Anne Doyle said, “I’ve known Harlow for years, she’s donated well over half a million dollars to our shelter so far. And she loves animals, loves them. And people who love animals don’t kill for no reason. I want to go on the record and state my belief that anyone who loves animals is a good person. I repeat: Harlow Hayes is a good person.”

March 2023–present

Hayes donates more than $200,000 to fans’ GoFundMe pages

Over the past two years, Hayes has taken to various fans’ GoFundMe pages to help them out, donating a total of more than $200,000 in sums ranging from $1,596 to one donation of $31,498. The lucky recipient of the latter was Jaycee Hill, who was raising money for her sister’s cancer treatment. “She’s our angel,” Jaycee said in a thank-you post.
