“Harder…faster…I need to come.”

“That I can do.” He throws my feet over his shoulders and starts to pound into me. This position allows him to hold my hips up at the perfect angle to hit my G-spot, and I see stars.

“Fuck, Callum.” I cry out, seconds from coming.

He thrusts a few more times, and then he detonates inside of me, setting my orgasm off with him. I can feel his warmth, and I love every moment of it.

Callum is bracing himself up by his elbows so he doesn’t crush me, and is breathing hard. He takes a moment to collect himself before he stands from the bed. His limp is more pronounced right now, and I am concerned I hurt him.

“Are you okay?” I ask.

“Yeah, just need to stretch my knee out. Let me get a towel to clean you up.” He heads for the small bathroom, and I hear water running.

Callum comes out of the bathroom and crosses over to where I am lying. He takes the wet washcloth in his hand and leans down to wipe up the mess we made. The cloth is warm on my sensitive flesh, but it is the perfect temperature.

He throws the dirty cloth into the bathroom before he climbs into bed next to me. Callum lies on his back and pulls me into his chest. I sling a leg over his good knee and snuggle in to listen to his steady heart rate.

“If you could get married absolutely anywhere, where would it be?” His chest rumbles while he talks, and I take a few moments to think over my answer.

“Hmm…” My fingers trail through each crevice of his abs while I picture my perfect wedding.

“Price is of no concern, absolutely anywhere.” His fingers run through my locks, and my body relaxes completely at his touch.

“Somewhere on a beach. The sunset in the background. All my friends are there.” My voice sounds dreamy and soft.

Never in a million years did I think I would be talking about planning another wedding. Let alone engaged again. Callum came into my life, I won’t say like a wrecking ball because he didn’t destroy. He built me up brick by brick. With love and care, and to just be there when I needed him.

He listens to my dreams and desires. Brings things I never thought possible to life. The whole Devil Dog family has filled a hole in my life I never knew I had, until I found them.

“A beach, you say? Like on Lake Michigan? Or a tropical island?”

Why do I feel like if I say tropical island, he will find a way to make it happen?

Because he will.

“Lake Michigan is fine,” I tell him. He doesn’t need to spend all his money on me.

“That wasn’t the question, Sunflower. Where do you dream of having your wedding?” His voice is stern.

“Isn’t it our wedding? Where do you want to get married?” I laugh.

“As long as you are the one walking down that aisle, I don’t care where it happens. As long as it happens.” I look up at him, and he has a warm smile on his face.

“If I had to pick, it would be somewhere tropical.” I don’t want to tell him because I know he’ll find a way to make it happen. But fuck if that statement didn’t make me tell him.

“Thank you for telling me. You will get whatever wedding you can dream up. I’ll be sure it happens.” Callum leans down and kisses me on the top of my head.

“Thank you. I love you.” I pull myself up enough to kiss him properly.

“I love you.” He says, breaking the kiss. “Now sleep. We have a long cruise ahead of us still.”

CHAPTER 54

KYRA

We are officially back in the great frozen north, AKA Michigan. I am already freaking cold. Our cruise was absolutely everything I could have ever wanted. We lay in the sun, we explored new countries, and of course, celebrated our engagement.

Callum said the house was completed, and he wanted to take me to see it. I’m sure it is absolutely beautiful. My anxiety of seeing this house is humming through my veins. What do I do? Do I move in with him? Do I let him live on his own? Does he want to live on his own?
