“Miss Sanders, are you ready?” The new event organizer walks through the door. She was just making sure Dee and Graham were set. “Stand back, Nyx, we don’t want Graham to spot you yet.”

She opens the door and then sticks her hand out towards me to help me navigate the stairs to the lodge. I cross the small gravel drive to where Graham is standing.

“Hey, Ky. You look beautiful.” He leans down to give me a quick hug. I am a little sister to him and Dee.

“Thank you. Ready to go marry your girl?” I elbow him playfully in the side before linking my arm through his.

“Well, Dee is marrying her, but yeah!” His smile gets brighter at the thought of being committed to Nyx.

The pathway glows with the small lamps lining the path and the Edison lights that are strung through the trees. I feel like I am walking into a fairytale, and I am so damn excited for my best friend.

We approach the ceremony site, and my jaw drops. Black and red roses cover most surfaces. There are flowers and lanterns hanging from the trees. This screams Nyx, and I love it for her.

An archway stands at the end of the aisle where their officiant and Demitri stand. Demitri is also looking handsome in his Dress Blues. A girl can always appreciate a man in a Marine Corps dress uniform.

Fairy lights twinkle throughout the flowers, and it overlooks a gorgeous cliffside. We stand far enough back that I’m not worried I’m going to fall right off, but the mountains in the distance glow in the setting sun.

There is a shift in music. I look up the aisle, and there stands my gorgeous best friend. Standing arm-in-arm with her “dad”. Captain Montegomery looks dapper in his formal uniform. I know Nyx tried for months to get him to wear a suit, but he said that he couldn’t be in a suit if the guys were wearing their blues.

Taking a quick peek at the seats where our friends and family sit. I spot Callum sitting in the front row on the guys' side of the aisle. Fuck, he’s also wearing his Dress Blues. My pussy can’t withstand this temptation.

You have to behave at least until we get through the reception shit.

“Duh,” I say quietly.

“Ky, did you say something?” Dee asks without taking his eyes off his bride.

“Nope, don’t mind me.” I feel my cheeks heat at the embarrassment.

Making eye contact with Cal was the worst decision because he smirks at me and gives me a quick wink. I mouth a quick fuck you to him, and he responds with a single word.

“Later.”

CHAPTER 44

CALLUM

The reception is wild. We don’t have many people here, but we’re still a crazy bunch. The number of tequila shots that have been passed around blows my mind. The girls did so many last night that I’m shocked they want to have more. Hair of the dog, I guess.

Kyra looks absolutely gorgeous in that dress. Her tits look a moment from spilling out the top every time she jumps along to the beat of the song. Nyx and Kyra have barely left the makeshift dance floor. Graham and I have brought them drinks at random throughout the night while throwing in a bottle of water here and there.

My brother and Demitri have not been able to keep their eyes off their wife. Yes, I call her their wife. Graham's claim on her may not be legal, but fuck them for not seeing that you can love two people. I can’t blame them for staring. I’m pretty sure I haven’t looked away from my gorgeous girl.

Deciding I want to get in on the action, I stand up from the dinner table. Walking over to where Kyra is swaying to the beat, I grab her by the hips. She squeals at first before she realizes it’s me.

“Hey, beautiful, Sunflower,” I whisper in her ear before I tug her hips back into my front. There is no way that she can’t feel my cock stiffening in my dress blue slacks. The grooms and I ditched the coats hours ago, but dropping trou isn’t as easy. My knee protests the bend I have to make sure our bodies are lined up.

“Hey, sexy.” She giggles and looks over her shoulder.

“Is someone drunk?”

“Maybe.” Her cheeks flush a brilliant scarlet color, and I’m shocked this zipper is holding firm.

“Do you want to get out of here?” My voice rumbled in my chest, the lust leaking out.

Her head nods enthusiastically. Taking her hand, we sneak out of the ballroom that is hosting the reception. Kyra stumbles slightly; she ditched the heels she was wearing hours ago. But she is not graceful sober, let alone intoxicated.

“Come on, Sunflower,” I say just seconds before I scoop her up and throw her over my shoulder.
