“She needs her Alpha,” King teases viciously. But there’s not a trace of malice in his tone because while the man can be a prick there’s no threat in between these four walls, and he knows that.
True to his word, he hasn’t touched me once when they have. And I’ve been cleaned up by them countless times before I crawl for him. It’s a beautiful game we’ve been playing, and there haven’t been any losers. All of us are more than happy with the rules.
“Her pack have got her,” Tyson barks over his shoulder before he looks at me, even before he opens his mouth, my submission is there for the taking. “She’s our good girl and she’s gonna comenow.”
I didn’t need Tyson’s bark, but I’m so attuned to it already. I’m also glad they’re all holding on to me because the roiling promise of a release plateaus for a few glorious moments until the tsunami of pleasure finally breaches, leaving me gasping for air and writhing. I hear their whispered warnings to hold on, but it’s unnecessary, I’d felt their peaks as if they’d been my own.
The force of Steel’s orgasm makes my own blood rush, making my head feel even lighter. Maverick tightens his hold on my wiggling hips and empties himself inside my body, his accompanying roar brings tickling spasms racing over me. I look up at Tyson next because I can taste how close he is. He’s holding on, but the moment our eyes lock, his finger drops to stroke the outline of his bite on my throat. There is adoration in everything he does, and he has this ability to strip everything away so it’s just him and me, even for a moment or two. His lips twist into a smirk that grows when he comes so hard I gag. But I manage to swallow every drop, earning more of his sweet praises.
My body is a temple that has been thoroughly worshipped a hundred different ways. But it’s the serenity in my soul that brings me the most peace and takes me to a place inside myself I’d never found before. The four of them though keep taking me there. My head is full of serenity, and my body is engulfed in a lush silence while I drift. I hear them near me, I feel them tending to me, but I’m not really with them.
The sensation is impossible to properly describe—there are no fears, no worries, nothing to make us question anything—and the white noise is full of a space so beautifully addictive.
“Here she is,” Tyson says, kissing my forehead. I’m not surprised I’m bundled up on his lap in a different part of mynest. The both of us tangled in my nesting blankets but there’s fresh linen on the mattress.
“How long this time?” I mumble, stretching up for a kiss. And he gives it to me while brushing my hair off my face and using his fingers to check my heart rate. He does that a lot.
“Not as long, is it weird I’m jealous and want to be there with you?”
I roll my eyes at his sweetness. It’s been such a special time with the four of them, and that’s not including my heat which was wickedly amazing. I’m no longer even surprised at how we all ended up here, it is proof of fate and kismet existing. I know now, we are meant to be together.
Tyson taps my nose, bringing me back to reality again. “Your temperature is coming back to normal too. How are you feeling?”
“Perfect. Tired, but good. Thanks to you,” I answer, snuggling into his chest and closing my eyes. I drift off so quickly too.
“Tris, can you hold this?” Maverick voices quietly.
I open my eyes. I forget what he said but you can’t blame me for getting sidelined by how gorgeous he is. I reach out to touch him, but King snatches my hand and pulls it away.
“That’s how it always starts,” he growls.
“How what starts?” I ask innocently, and King flicks his head expectantly indicating where I’m meant to be.
Tyson passes me over without hesitation. There’s also no sense of anything weird or awkward in the exchange either. It simply is our dynamic.
King grabs his hoodie and pushes it over my head while Steel tugs a pair of fluffy socks on my feet.
“Where did they come from?” I ask twisting a foot out of his hand to see it better.
“Same place I ordered all your nest stuff. That place Raney likes.”
I look up at King, my mouth wide open as he blows me away once again. “You shopped at Birdie for me?”
“That better not be surprise in your voice, killer.”
“Not surprise,” I whisper, having to bury my face against his chest to wipe away the happy tears in my eyes.
He doesn’t let me hide though, his thumb catching them as they fall, “I love you too, killer. I’d do fucking anything for you. Including shopping at that place. Online. Never going to that place in person again. The last time was a right fucking shit show.”
I grab his hand to wipe my cheeks before taking a large noisy exhale. I know Unity makes a big deal about the time after heats since most Omegas are still pretty vulnerable. I guess because I’d self-medicated through them previously or done them in one of the clinics the emotional seesaw wasn’t something I’d experienced.
Except I’m also pretty sure there’s a huge difference between a heat with Alphas and one with your Alphas and your pack. Well, that’s how I’m justifying the over-the-top euphoria I’m experiencing. Which also explains why I dig my nails into Steel’s arm so he can’t leave.
My heat might be over but that doesn’t seem to matter to me anymore. I have a different need for them now or I’m just being greedy, either way it works for me.
“I’m not going anywhere,” Steel says quietly, trying to unlatch my nails, but they stay digging into his flesh until he mock glares at me, plonking his butt down nice and close.
“Where’s Tyson?” I ask because I can see Maverick. He’s crawling on his knees towards me with a thermal cup in one hand and a beanie in the other. Not asking, because honestly, he doesn’t need to. I can scent that the beanie is his from here. Hepasses the cap over before twisting my hair expertly up, pulling a few strands free at the front and tugging his hat on my head.
