I scramble, without being asked/told twice. I lose my panties, clambering between the seats. Darius he slows the car down, making the gap between Ronnie widen out so no one can see too closely, or maybe because he wants more time to watch. Ramses drops his hands on my hips before he starts thrusting into me, even before I’ve straddled him.

The both of us look down to watch the way our bodies pull towards each other. It looks hot as Hades, while the scent we make, to which Darius keeps adding to with his, has me bucking wildly, desperate for more.

He lets me down slowly, letting me get lost in each thick inch of him.

“Fuck, Heidi, you’re opening right up for me.” Ramses groans, as he holds me down, giving me the chance to feel him; his instincts are driving us already. He knows what I need.

He feels incredible, all of me feels like I’m buzzing, humming almost but so very impatient too. I whine for more. And he drags his teeth against my jaw before rubbing his face over mine, scent marking me.

“Good girl, little moon,” Darius says before he leans over the centre console to kiss me. “Ram, steer for a minute.”

Darius runs his fingers up the back of my neck, his nails marking up my skin and scalp as he destroys me in a wickedly hard kiss. His tongue licks over mine, and our teeth clash as he pulls the air out of my lungs. His kisses drag me right up to the edge of a promise of a release before he whispers dirty words against my lips.

“Corner coming up, Dare,” Ramses says, but he talks without urgency. They swap, Darius goes and I go to follow him, stretching for more of his wicked kisses. Ramses pulls me back to him, his hands settling on my hips as we start to move as one again. He makes lots of heated noises when he bites under my jaw and I pull back to see if he's dropped into a rut because it sounds like it. His eyes are clear of rut haze but are full of so much emotion it's easy to see he's having a moment. But it is our moment. He shuffles closer, his fingers circle my clit gently, making starbursts dance over my vision as his heavy, love laden groans fill my ears.

My body burns and aches, I’m desperate for his knot, but he’s holding off. “Come for us, Heidi. Show my brother how good you can milk me,” he purrs. And the noise vibrates over my skin, making the pleasure racing over me more intense.

All I can do is hold on to him, as Ramses moves his body and Darius makes the car do sweeping wide turns. The swooping speed makes the climax teasing me grow and intensify. Ram talks softly, his mouth against my ear. “You take as much as you need. And then the second I get you inside your nest, I’ll flip you over and knot your juicy cunt while Dare fucks your gorgeous mouth. You want that?” He starts biting along the edge of my jaw before dropping his mouth over my scent gland and clamping his teeth over the sweet spot on my neck.

“Heidi!” Darius calls softly, and I swing around half delirious. “Are you my good girl, or my naughty slut? Come on my brother’s cock… now!” He finishes with an urgent bark that washes over me. His Alpha tips me over, and I come on a shuddering groan.

“See you love a little praise,” he grins before his smile falls away and he snaps his teeth in front of my face. “Again.”

ChapterForty-Eight

KAI

Darius leaves our connection open, so I can hear she’s okay for myself. Ramses is taking care of her, and it’s important I know. It’s a way to keep my Alpha in the right headspace to get the job done. Being separated from your Omega when her heat hits is an easy way of sending any Alpha into a rage but being able to hear Heidi’s small moans and mewls, means the risk I freak out, is all but gone.

There’s no question of her being in danger. None of us have any concern about that at all, but we sure as hell are not leaving our Omega needy or in discomfort. Or around any other Alphas.

Her soft moans confirm she’s in the best hands and my brothers are taking care of her properly, allowing me to focus all my attention on Pack Lowly, sooner rather than later too. I mean, they were always going to be on our list of things to deal with because of their fucked-up attitude towards Heidi but it was going to happen after she got control of Verdune. Not now though, especially since they’ve come at her and Allan so aggressively. It’s not like any Alpha would leave that move unanswered.

Sticking to the shadows and away from Pack Lowly’s line of sight, I call the guards from the gate house over and quietly to them. And even though Ronnie's still driving I make sure to patch a call through so he's in on everything. He seems to have fallen into the role of lead within her security team. He’s also got a soft spot for my girl but not in a bad way.

We coordinate, and we agree the best approach is for them to take a walk. I don’t want any witnesses and I also don’t want them to drop the ball on her security in the slightest in case this is all a smokescreen for a bigger attack. Especially with her impending heat, and Allan hiding out inside.

I wait until the security team disappears on their perimeter check before I move a muscle. It’s not fair to draw them into this, but my Alpha also sees this as a job for him and him alone since it impacts his mate so much.

Unsurprisingly, Pack Lowly are totally ignorant to what’s happening outside the car. They’re caught up in whatever they’re doing inside. I also suspect they’re really not anticipating trouble to come at them from behind the gates of Verdune. They’ve blocked the road and faced their car towards the direction she’d be travelling.

And I use that to my advantage—creeping up on their car is easy because they haven’t even turned the engine off so they can’t hear my approach. They’ve also got the windows up and the AC running. They’ve left themselves in a very vulnerable position.

And I’m going to teach them a lesson on how fucking stupid they are, and that you should always expect the unexpected.

No one in the car looks out the windows the whole time I watch and wait. I could pretty much walk straight to the car without being seen, but I don’t. I keep low and slow before coming to a stop and crouching behind the car. Fitting a metal cap over their exhaust takes a second. I shake off the heat proof gloves I used, letting them drop to the ground for later. I set the timer on my watch, then squat down out of sight, and wait. It should take only minutes before the fumes from the exhaust build up enough to suffocate the engine.

It’s textbook the way it happens. The engine whines before it putters to a stop. Almost immediately after the air shuts off the driver’s side door opens. I twist around, hunch down low and stay out of their view to fire off a tiny tranquilliser, hitting Joseph in the neck even before he got his ass out of the seat.

The tranqs we use are tiny. They also pack a punch. By the time he’s raising an alarm, I’ve already popped tranqs into the others. Now all I need to do is wait which takes hardly any time at all.

Coming around to double check, the four of them are locked in a state where nothing computes. And I can attest that is the exact way they’d feel since Ramses, in his wisdom, decided the three of us each needed to experience the speed and the effects of the drugs to understand how much time you have to work with.

Putting the gloves back on, I pop off the metal cap I’d used on the exhaust before rolling Joseph’s body over to the passenger seat, on top of Graham. The first time I try the ignition the engine whines, so I give it longer to recover while planting evidence around highlighting Pack Lowly’s terrible life choices. Since I’m operating on a tight schedule, I don’t have a lot of scope to work with; pumping them full of alcohol isn’t going to work, especially if doctors or coroners decide to test their stomach contents, which means I have to use illicit substances. I load them full of the good stuff—super fine A-grade coke mixed with some dirty crushed meth. Since they’re still incapable of moving a muscle, I have to blow the blow up their noses using a straw, which is both gross and intriguing at the same time. Gross in the respect I have to get intimately close to each of them but the way their pupils dilate and their breathing changes in an instant is another example of how incredible human bodies are. But they’re not a science experiment, they’re victims of The Phoenix Group, and we’ve got a reputation to uphold.

I sprinkle the drugs in places you’d expect, including over Graham’s face. I’m making him the worst offender since he’s the Alpha. It kind of makes sense he’d be the one leading the way and being extra. I splash half a bottle of Jack over the centre console, tipping a lot of it on him, while trailing a path from the backseat then back to the front again. And then I use what they brought themselves, upending their bags and rummaging through papers, even throwing a copy of the Deed they’ve all written over by the looks and an official looking letter from the hospital under Graham’s feet. Everything points to a pack struggling.

Trying the ignition again, the car roars to life.
