A rumbling falls from his chest as he buries his fingers further into my hair, to hold me still so he can move himself without me moving an inch. Each thrust he glides effortlessly past my throat, and I reward him with another bit of my finger. I grab his knot and squeeze it almost painfully; he stumbles.
“Big breath, I’m going to blow,” he blabbers in a rush of words, but I could feel his orgasm barrelling through his body. And I could taste it.
His final few thrusts are almost too much. His fingers twist in my hair so hard while he holds my nose up against his knot, but I don’t panic because I also know he’d never hurt me more than I want.
Every part of me is humming alive while my core throbs in time with his racing heartbeat.
“Heidi,” he groans under his breath as he comes.
Each time he blows another chai latte flavoured load into my throat, I gag. Tears streak my cheeks and the spots in my vision get blacker but I feel nearly unstoppable being the one to ruin this man.
And the cheeky devil was right, I can taste the truth of his apology. True to his word, he literally fills me with it too.
ChapterForty-Five
HEIDI
Racing into our suite, or I should say, Darius races us into my suite since I’m still not allowed to walk myself, the first thing I hear are the kittens and my phone.
“Time to let me go,” I say, but when he ignores me, I twist around and bite his chest.
“Do you seriously expect that to do anything but turn me on, little moon?” He laughs as he sets me down on my feet. “Where’s your phone? I’ll get it, you talk to these beasts.”
“Those beasts are my babies, Darius!” I smart back at him.
“For the time being. Once we’re packed, had talks about responsibility and life plans, I’m bending you over and soaking your womb on the hour, every hour until your belly grows.” He winks before walking away.
I wait for a wave of internal argument, or anything at all, but that inner bitch has suddenly got laryngitis… nothing but relief settles over me. I barely sit down in an oddly satisfying fluffy state and the door opens behind me where Kai’s got his arms full of bags.
“What have you got now?” I ask.
“Supplies and gifts. How are you, rohi?” He slows as he passes to drop a quick kiss on my head and before I can answer he disappears too.
I take two slow exhales max and wait, a flash catches my eye and I watch my phone torpedoed over the carpet, as Simona’s name flashes impatiently. Before I answer I scroll over the notifications and see there’s been a few.
“Sim, I’m sorry,” I offer sliding down to lay on the carpet, letting my brave tomboy rub his nose over mine.
“Shit! Hang on, I have to tell them I got through. Honestly, Ho, after what happened with Raney, do you get why we’re all panicked? We agreed to talk more, not less!” She says before I hear her yelling out. In the distance Tristan’s booming voice echoes but what she says is hard to make out, her tone is pretty clear… she’s miffed.
“FaceTime?” I offer.
“Your funeral, Ho, or I can talk to you and let her cool down.”
“Tristan calm? You’re joking, right?” I laugh. “Plus, I’ve got secret weapons and…news.”
The call drops out before I get a FaceTime notification. It takes barely any time until we’re all on the chat together. My chest squeezes as I look at the women who have saved me too many times to count before I start expressing my snarky love, letting them know I’m good.
“Raney, you’re positively glowing. What are those Alphas doing to you?” I bitch because she looks gorgeous as always just a little tired with dark rings around her eyes.
Instead of answering, she flicks me the bird, which I guess is her response. I love how we can communicate without speaking.
“Did you keep the kittens?” Tris interrupts.
I do a grimace with lots of teeth before lifting up the two cats so they walk in front of the camera.
“Couldn’t he afford to get you ones with fur?” Raney asks, pulling a face of disgust.
I kind of get it, you either love nude Egyptian Sphinxes or you don’t.
