I stared at her in shock –
Then roared in anger.
“HELEFT?!”
As she stared up at me, tears spilled down her cheeks –
And, in spite of my anger…
I began to chuckle.
Then I started to howl with laughter.
It was just too funny.
“What kind of a fuckin’pussyleaves his pregnant wife alone when he knowsI’mcoming?” I half-laughed, half-sneered in contempt.
She just stared up at my gun. “Please…”
“Please what?” I said, still grinning.
“I didn’t do anything to you…”
“No, but your husband did.” I squatted down so I could look her directly in the eye. “He killed my fuckin’ father.”
“I’m sorry,” she whispered, tears welling up in her eyes.
I put my gun against her temple. “Why? Did you have something to do with it?”
It was a joke on my part.
I knew she didn’t.
I mean, how could she?
She was awoman.
The pregnant bitch shook her head as tears spilled down her cheeks. “No – no, I didn’t, I swear to you – I don’t know anything about that – ”
“Shh, shh,” I said soothingly. “It’s okay.”
She stopped whimpering.
“I was going to kill him, you know,” I murmured as I caressed her cheek with the barrel of my gun.
Her eyes looked over at the side of her face where I was stroking her with the gun. She went very still, like she was afraid to move.
I smiled. “But since he’s not here, I’ll just fuckyouup instead.”
She looked me in the eyes and pleaded, “Please… I’mpregnant.”
I grinned even wider. “I don’t fuckin’ care.”
And I pulled back my gun and I hit her.
