His words of encouragement ignited a flame. She gripped the sink and worked her hips until she was bouncing on his dick. Xander held her waist and braced himself behind her while she used his dick for nothing less than an earth-shattering organism. Niyah fell into the sink, completely weakened by his efforts.

Xander wrapped his arm around her waist, lifting her feet off the floor and angled her into a position where she had no other option but to take every single inch of him. He pushed and pumped until her cervix blocked his path. The sweet pain curled Niyah toes.

“Fuck, baby!” Xander shouted. “I'm gonna cum!” He grabbed the back of her neck rode her from behind. Niyah could feel his thigh trembling against hers. “Aghhhh, shit, Niyah! I’m coming!”

Xander slammed into her and froze as his dick pulsed warm semen inside of her. “Ughh.” Without pulling out, Xander pulled her back until her feet lowered to the floor. His breathing matched hers, heavy and labored.

“Whoo!” Niyah sighed. She turned the faucet, cupped her hands under the cold water, and splashed her face. “Gotdamn, Xander,” she all but purred.

Xander kissed along her shoulder to the back of her neck. “Goddamn, is right, Doc.”

CHAPTER 42

VICTOR

Victor climbed the stairs and entered the plane. Sitting at a small conference table were Kena, Renee, and Nate, his Senior Campaign Strategist. He tossed his briefcase in a seat and walked over. When none of them looked up, Victor knew something was wrong.

“What is it?”

Kena, the brave one, looked up. “There’s good news and there’s bad news, Governor.”

Victor unbuttoned his suit coat and sat in one of the plush leather seats. “Give me the bad news first.”

“Okay. First, we were able to remove the footage of you and Mrs. Creed from the internet. Unfortunately, there’s just no way to erase it completely. It’s been downloaded. It’s been downloadeda lot.”

“Fuck!” Victor roared.

He didn’t give two shits about embarrassing footage of him on the internet. But the fact that his wife was in the video left him enraged. He’d spoken to Jaysen about the video, and it pleased him to no end when he found out that his brother had attached a virus that would wreak havoc on any computer used to open the file.

Victor sighed. “What’s the good news?”

Kena smiled. “The DNA results are back, and as expected, Nicole’s son is not yours.”

“I’ve already put out a press release,” Renee informed.

“My numbers haven't dropped one point since Nicole’s allegation. The American people knew that was bullshit.”

“Well, having proof doesn’t hurt,” Nate countered.

Victor let out frustrated breath. He couldn’t wait for the campaign to be over. He was exhausted. “Where are we going?”

Kena smiled. “You’ll tour Indiana for two days, stopping first in Indianapolis.”

“Where’s my wife?”

“She’s in Atlanta,” Kena offered. “She’ll be meeting you in Indy. From there, the two of you will be going to your family’s compound where you can rest up until election day.”

“Rest?” Victor asked with a raised brow. “What’s that?”

Kena smiled. “You’ll find out soon. Now, buckle up so we can get outta here.”

BELLA

Bella sighed and tossed a file folder filled with crime-scene photos on her desk. Her investigation into the serial murders was going nowhere. She had no murder weapon and no witnesses. Neighborhood canvases had turned up nothing useful.

Bella grabbed her keys and stood. The only thing left to do was start over. She needed to revisit every scene and canvas the neighborhoods again.

“Devereaux, you got a call on 304!” shouted a detective from across the room.”
