Taylor laughed again, but the sight of Victor in a white, V-neck tee and gray jogging pants stole her laughter. Even dressed down, he was a vision of power and masculinity. His bulky shoulders and muscular chest formed the sexiest of silhouette under a plain, white T-shirt. And the gray jogging pants couldn’t even begin to hide his powerful thighs and that massive tool between them.

“Stop staring at me like that. I’m not a piece of meat,” Victor smirked.

Taylor knew that she was staring, but it wasn’t a person in the room that could make her stop. Victor was mistaken. Hewasmeat, pure beefcake. And she was still gaping at his noticeable bulge when Gregor placed the bottle of wine on the table louder than he needed to. Taylor quickly turned to Gregor with an apologetic grin.

“My bad,” she mumbled. “You guys sit. I’ll get the food.”

Taylor hurried into the kitchen and grabbed a set of potholders. She pulled the hot casserole dish from the oven and carried it into the dining room.

“Mmm, Taylor, sweetheart, that smells delicious,” Victor praised.

“It does,” Gregor agreed.

“Thank you. I hope you like it.”

Taylor returned to the kitchen and grabbed two dishes. One containing potatoes au gratin and the other filled with steamed asparagus. She carried them into the dining room and placed them on mats next to the main dish.

“Baby, you have outdone yourself today. Dinner looks amazing. Sit down. I’ll pour the wine.”

Victor stood and grabbed the bottle of wine and poured Taylor a full glass. He attempted to pour some for Gregor, but he covered the rim.

“I’m on duty, sir.”

“Nonsense, we’re enjoying dinner. I’m insisting that you take the night off. Now, move your hand.”

“Um-mm,” Gregor refused, shaking his head. “Don’t like wine, sir.”

Gregor turned to Taylor. “Got any beer?” he asked.

“Of course.” Taylor chuckled. “Miller Lite okay?”

“Perfect.”

Taylor stood from her chair, but Victor stilled her by holding out his hand.

“Relax, babe. I’ll get the beer.”

Taylor lowered herself to sit. When Victor left the room, she looked over at Gregor. She could tell that he was a bit uncomfortable with Victor serving him. “Shi-id, Gregor. You’re off duty. Enjoy it while you can,” she urged.

“Yeah,” Gregor muttered. “You keep cooking like this, and maybe I’ll be able to get him to wash my car.”

“Don’t count on that.” Taylor giggled.

When Victor returned with Gregor’s beer, the three of them sat and feasted on dinner over light conversation. Taylor had to admit that she was enjoying Gregor’s company. He’d opened up about his personal life for the first time since she’d met him. He was usually all about the business of keeping Victor safe.

During dinner, Taylor learned that Gregor used to be a Navy Seal, and he was a divorced father of two teenage boys that almost matched him in height. As they shared a meal, Taylor discovered that the normally brooding and intimidating giant was actually funny and charismatic. To Taylor’s surprise, Gregor had opened up about everything from his political views to his parenting style. After dinner, Taylor felt as if she knew him so much better. When he was protecting Victor, he seemed almost robotic. But, now, Taylor understood that even though he took his job seriously, he was still a human being. He’d even stuck around for an after-dinner drink.

“Alright, now. I gotta get home and make sure the girls that my sons sneaked in the house don’t get pregnant,” Gregor announced.

Taylor laughed hysterically. The effects of the wine and the fact that Gregor actually had a sense of humor gave her the giggles.

“Alright, old man, I’ll see you in the morning.” Victor chuckled.

As Victor walked Gregor to the door, Taylor cleared the dishes. She was bent over, placing them in the dishwasher when Victor walked up behind her and pressed his dick against her behind. He groped her ass and moaned.

“Baby, you got the sweetest ass I’ve ever seen.”

Taylor stood upright and turned to face him. “You think so?” she asked flirtatiously.
