“Then who’s gonna fold your damn towels?”

The sound of the doorbell ended their argument. Tracy went to answer the door, giving Tammy a chance to have a little fun with the girls.

Tammy’s life had changed drastically. She had come a long way from the little girl that had been abandoned by her mother, becoming a teenage mother herself, and taking off her clothes for a living to feed her son. Her life was amazing. Her dad had found happiness with Mary, his new wife. Tammy’s son was happy and healthy, and she had a thriving business.

And then there was Luca.

The very thought of the man that had changed her life gave her joy. She loved him with every fiber of her being, but most importantly, he loved her. Dealing with someone as gruff as Luca would not be easy for most. But for Tammy, he was perfect. She was never without love or affection. And even though danger sometimes surrounded him, she’d never felt safer.

“Tammy!” Tracy shouted as she re-entered the living room.

She was carrying a large bouquet of Sicilian Honey Lilies. Behind her, carrying a large bouquet of the same, was a tall, gorgeous man. He had long, dark hair, wrapped in a “man bun,” and his thick body was covered by a black tuxedo. The man was fine. Judging by how quickly the room went silent, Tammy wasn't the only one to notice.

“Gotdamn,” Natasha whispered from behind.

Tammy looked back at her friend. She was mesmerized by the man-meat that had entered the room. The man was nice, but he couldn't hold a candle to Gianni Storm.

“Really, Tasha?”

Natasha shrugged, never taking her eyes off the man in the tux.

“What? You think I went blind after I got married?”

Tammy shook her head and asked, “Are you gonna be okay?”

“Ma’am?” the man in the tux interrupted.

He handed Tammy an envelope and walked out of the front door.

She took a card out of the envelope.

It read…

Ma chère fille,

Accept my apologies for missing your shower. My wish for you is that today will be a day that you will remember always. To do my part in making that memory, I send to you your favorite flowers and the beautiful Samoan. He will tend to your needs. I look forward to seeing you when you return to Paris, and I am excited to watch you become my daughter.

With all of my love,

Anna

Tammy placed the note on the end table. She was blown away. Did her soon to be mother-in-law actually send her a man? She knew that the French lived by a different code, but damn. Tammy looked around the room and noticed that the women were staring at her, waiting.

“Oh, it’s from Anna. She sent me that man,” Tammy told the ladies.

“Get out! Your mother-in-law sent you a man as a gift? Does she know her son? Oh, God. She must hate this poor man to send him to his death,” Emily chortled.

“Stop it. Luca wouldn't hurt him,” Tammy defended.

“Bitch, are you on crack?” Victoria chimed. “They gonna find that man stanking somewhere!”

When the man re-entered Tracy’s house, the women were roaring with laughter. He was carrying a portable massage table. He walked over to Tammy and asked where he could set up. Since it wasn't her house, Tammy deferred to Tracy, who led him to a guest room.

“See, Vic, he’s just a masseur.”

“Don't you take yo’ ass back there with The Rock,” Victoria warned.

“Yeah, I agree with Vic,” Emily chimed. “But you can tell Anna that I really loved your gift.”
