He squeals a sound of excitement, then kisses my entire face a hundred times.

I can’t help but laugh.

“Where is Étienne?”

“Moping about somewhere.”

I roll my eyes as I settle Nico on his feet. “We need to find him.”

“Étienne!” Nico shouts as he cups his hands around his mouth.

We scan the arena, and across the ice, in the stands, Étienne’s head pops up.

Nico throws his arms up in awhat the hell are you doing?motion.

“Get your ass down here!” Nico calls.

Étienne gives him the middle finger.

I glance at the door, knowing I have to try harder.

“I have something for you, Étienne!” I say this time.

“What could you possibly have for me?” he says back.

“Get down here and find out.”

I faintly hear him grumbling to himself as he makes his way through the stands and around the arena to us.

“He’s been miserable,” Nico says. “Thank God Connor is here.”

“What?” Étienne says as he reaches us, looking between the both of us.

“I have—”

“Connor!” Étienne shouts, shoving past me and Nico to get to him. He leaps into his arms, and Connor catches him, spinning him around.

“Gross,” Nico says, smiling up at me.

I smile, then lean down to kiss him. “I missed you.”

“I missed you too,” he says. “How long are you staying?”

“Couple days.”

“How long do you have left?” I ask.

“Two hours. We can eat after that?” he suggests.

We glance at Connor and Étienne who are making out.

“Yeah… looks like the room will be occupied,” I say.

I know it the moment Connor tells Étienne the good news, because he shrieks and shouts with excitement, the sound echoing through the rink.

“And he has the audacity to call me annoying?” Nico huffs at me.

“You are!” Étienne shouts.
