“I promise you won’t regret it.”
Touched by the eagerness in his voice, I caress the side of his handsome face. “I could never regret spending time with you.”
His lips twitch into an amused smile.
“What?” I wonder.
“I think I just met cheesy Andrea.”
I laugh. “And do you like her?”
“Iloveher.”
Fuck going on a date. He can have me right here, right now. I’m about to grab his neck and pull him down for a kiss when his phone rings on the nightstand. Lex groans with disapproval and moves away from me to pick it up.
He lets the person talk and then lets out a dry, “Alright, thank you.” Once the call is cut, he turns to me. “The Injin car will pick us up in twenty minutes, so off to the shower.”
With a stretch, I watch as he stands up and walks to his bathroom, wishing he was completely naked. I’m still there when he returns from his quick shower with a towel around his narrow hips. He frowns disapprovingly upon seeing me. “I said, shower. Now.”
“I think I’ll wear you under my clothes,” I suggest, looking down at his cum all over my stomach.
Given how his eyes turn ravenous, I’d say he loves that idea. But forever the pragmatist, he counters my suggestion with, “If you do that, I won’t be able to focus all day. Go wash yourself, Andrea.”
“Make me,” I dare him.
I’ve watched enough animal documentaries with my abuela to know exactly what the look he gives me means. That’s why I try to roll to the other side of the bed before he even leaps forward. But he’s quickerthan me, so he manages to grab my left ankle. Excitement and fear make me giggle nervously as I try to crawl away from him while he tugs. I’m no match for his strength and determination, so I end up trapped by his powerful body. His towel fell off during the struggle, so he’s all wet skin and hard muscles now. Fuck, I wish we could cancel today’s plan and stay right here all day.
Lex doesn’t even leave room for negotiation, though, as he lifts me off the bed and carries me to the bathroom. He carefully sets me down in front of the shower and gives my ass a dry slap. “Go on, Walker,” he orders. “And if you make me say it one more time, you’ll regret it.”
He doesn’t wait to see if I comply, off to the bedroom again. Just to see what he meant, I’m tempted to make him ask again. But out of respect for our hosts, I begrudgingly step into the stall.
Plus, I’m genuinely excited about today’s program, so I don’t want to miss it. And Lex is taking me on a date on Saturday anyway, so I’ll get my way with him soon.
God, I can’t wait…
Chapter 14
“So, when are we getting tennis courts at Kelex?” I playfully ask Lex.
He quirks a sassy eyebrow at me. “Would you like a track field as well?”
“I don’t like running,” I say, scrunching my nose.
“Then you wouldn’t like tennis. A dartboard might be more your speed.”
“Asshole,” I chuckle. “We already have one.”
“Then the best I can do until we add another few million to our yearly revenue is another arcade machine.”
I think about it for a moment and nod. “I’m okay with that.”
Our guide, who walks a few steps ahead of us, turns around. “This is the food court. We have eighty-seven menus, and everything is free. Your visitors’ badges give you access to it.”
Lex bends toward me when our host looks away again to say, “You heard that, my little raccoon? Free food.”
I shove his side with my elbow, utterly helpless against my irrepressible smile. He’s getting a little too comfortable with making fun of my flaws…
We’re about eleven miles east of Seoul, in the Injin Village. It’s a massive complex that might as well be a town of its own where Injin has its factories, research centers, and even hotels, daycare centers, medical facilities, multiple sports fields like soccer, badminton, basketball, baseball, an Olympic swimming pool, and their own transportation network. It’s absolutely insane, and I’m so excited to be shown around such an amazing place.
