It was the sweetest love story I’d ever heard.
After we had an insanely tearful reunion at the guild when we had rebuilt it, Ash had taken over my adventurer guild as master, officially.
She had also helped start an adventurer guild closer to Hex’s Pass with Emperor Lovington’s permission, and the Allura Empire now hadtwoadventurer guilds.
I couldn’t be more proud of her.
“Are you kidding me?” I raised a brow and cocked my hip out. “I’m happy foryou! Look at how successful andin loveyou are. I couldn’t be more proud of you.”
Ash giggled through her tears, and Lincoln’s cheeks tinged red.
“Thank you, Master Fawn.” He cleared his throat, bowing his head slightly.
I’d watched Lincoln grow up, and he’d respected me the same way his parents had. They’d raised him well, and knowing he was the man Ash had fallen for put my mind at ease.
“I’m not a master anymore.” I winked, glancing over at my bonded mages, who were giving me varying looks ofhurry up. “But we just made it to the hot springs, so I’m going to head off here for now. If you ever need anything, just call!”
“You’ll always bemymaster.” Ash stuck her tongue out before the call faded.
I stumbled over the uneven rock and through the steam, toward the guys who were already waist-deep in the water.
We’d found this hidden hot spring on one of our missions in the Abominable Mountains. The azure waters glistened under the midday sun, sending ripples across the surface as a gentle breeze swept through.
Lush greenery surrounded the spring, creating a serene oasis that seemed untouched by time. The air was filled with the delicate fragrance of wildflowers, and the soothing sounds of bubbling water provided a satisfying backdrop to the scene.
I stripped off my clothes and waded into the water before the twins surged forward and smooshed me between them.
The warmth seeped into my bones, and I let out a contented sigh as I leaned back against them.
The others lounged around us, and the amount ofpeacefilling the bond was immeasurable. I couldn’t be more grateful for them or this moment.
I couldn’t believe the spirits had blessed us so richly. Though, thinking back on my past, it was about time I was able to finally justlive.
Jasper’s hand brushed against my thigh under the water. “Goddess, you are the most beautiful thing to step foot on Hexarium.”
Heat rose to my cheeks as I turned to him, meeting his intense gaze. “You’re biased,” I teased, my fingers trailing over his chest. “But I’ll take the compliment.”
“Biased or not, it’s the truth,” Cas murmured, his arms wrapping around me tighter. “I love you, sunshine.”
“We all do,” Bastian added, swimming closer until his hand glided over my waist. “More than anything.”
Aimon and Silas moved closer, and their spirits brushed against mine.
“I’m glad I fell in love with you, muse,” Silas murmured.
“Never expected this life.” Aimon shook his head with an amused smile. “But I wouldn’t trade it for anything, bug.”
My heart swelled at their words. “Bless, I loveallof you.”
Jasper leaned in to press a kiss to my neck, and the warmth of his lips sent shivers down my spine.
“Hey, none of that,” Aimon teased, swatting Jasper with a vine. “We're trying to relax here.”
“Relaxing is overrated,” Jasper murmured against my skin before nipping lightly at my earlobe.
I let out a breathy laugh. “He’s got a point…”
Amusement and arousal trickled through the bond, and I knew that the spirits had been right in putting them into my life—even if I had to face the monsters of my past.
