Our moans mingled together as pleasure rolled through us. Our dark and light wisps faded, and we took her into our arms as we pulled out of her, tucking our dicks away.
She smiled up at us, and her eyes glazed over with satisfaction that brimmed through the bond. “Thisis my favorite kind of love.”
“Mine too, sunshine.” I kissed her forehead.
“I’m obsessed with the way this turned out,” Jasper told her.
“We need to find the scutterfly,” she murmured, her cheeks bright pink as she blinked a few times, coming down from the high of ecstasy. She stumbled out of our arms and ran her hands through her wild hair.
“We will,” I assured her as Jasper bent down to grab her dress.
“We’ll find it quickly.” He put the dress over her head, and she pushed her arms through the holes to pull it past her breasts.
“And if we don’t?” Her voice came out hesitant.
“We had fun.” I helped her tug it over the rest of her body, slightly bummed about covering her exposed skin. I lovedeverythingabout her. “Didn’t we?”
“We did,” she agreed with her lip pouted. “But we’re supposed to be finding ingredients for this potion.”
“Come on, goddess, a little break never hu—” A shrill scream escaped Jasper’s lips, cutting off his words just after he leaned his back against a nearby tree. “Get it the fuck away from me!” His entire body wiggled as he jumped forward, and the bark of the tree shifted behind him.
A large insect with dragon-like wings moved from where its body had been tightly wrapped around the trunk of the tree, and I bit my lip to hold back a laugh.
Scutterflies were helpful bugs, but they were also creepy things with big wings and a knack for camouflage.
Jasper hadneverbeen a big fan of them.
“Fucking scutterflies!”He tossed a dark wisp toward it and lopped off its head.“What the hell is it doing here?”
“Hiding, it looks like,” I muttered, tilting my head as the body stayed attached to the trunk of the tree. “But scutterfliesdolive here.”
“Maybe the dragons have been raging. This shit is scaring the animals, too.” Fawn moved forward and used her wind magic to slice open the head and harvest the brain of it. The brain levitated in front of her, and she shut her eyes. “From here to there, let time and space be unaware. Spirits of Hexarium bless.”
The brain teleported to Bastian the next moment.
Fawn heaved a sigh of relief as she opened her eyes. “Are you two ready to head back?”
Jasper groaned, rubbing his face as he nodded. “Let’s get out of here.”
“Yeah. It’s been nice having alone time with you, sunshine, but I miss the others.” I winked at her.
“I do, too,” she and Jasper murmured, and we smiled.
“The bonds make our spirits crave one another. We have a full twenty-four hours, or eighteen now until the bond affects our magic or spirits negatively. But I miss having everyone close.” She reached out and grabbed our hands, squeezing them tight. “I really love all of you.”
“We know, goddess.” Jasper’s gaze softened as he stared at her.
“We all love you too, sunshine.”
A burst of love washed over the bond before I light-jumped us back to the castle in the Lethium Empire, where our bonded brothers waited for our return.

FAWN
My toes dugdeep into the powdery white sand of Fairy Bay as Silas and I glanced out at the shoreline, searching for a sign of our target, the vortex turtle.
Casper, Jasper, and I returned to the castle last night, after getting two of the more difficult ingredients. All of them had questioned us about thepleasurethey had felt in the bond, and the twins were not shy in giving them all the details.
