He didn't stop. His words were laced with venom as he spat out, "Say it!"

Tears streamed down my face from the pain. I wasn't a stranger to agony, but something about not being able to protect myself with my powers made this situation so much worse.

A strangled cry tore from his throat as tears poured down his own face, and he stopped hitting me. He dropped to the floor beside me and yanked me into a tight embrace, rocking back and forth as if he was trying to make up for the pain he had just inflicted on me.

My stomach twisted with disgust as he held me. I felt so drained that all I could do was tremble, but anger burned bright in my heart.

"I ruined your shrine," I rasped, my throat throbbing with each word. "Casper and Jasper took turns fucking me on your bed, and I soiled your precious shrine with our cum."

His entire body stiffened, but I kept going.

"That's why I willneverchoose you. I love Casper and Jasper, but I also love Aimon, Bastian, and Silas. Those men are more than you willeverbe."

He pulled away for a moment before his tongue snaked out and licked my cheek, collecting all my tears with one swipe. "I'll be the one fucking you and loving you soon enough, Fawn. You may think you can get away with your obscene lies, but you have no idea what I am capable of if provoked." He stood up and moved into the next room before turning and winking at me. "You would be wise to remember that. Let's let down that barrier, now."

The door shut behind him with a loud bang, and I was left alone in the throne room. My heart ached in my chest as all of the horrors that had just ensued began to sink in. Everything about the encounter was eerily familiar.

My fingers grazed over my face softly, and I pulled back to find them slick with blood.

Just then, the door flew open. Aimon, Bastian, Casper, Jasper, and Silas rushed inside.

All five men had fire in their eyes as they looked around the room at the destruction Matthieu had caused, but the unadulterated anger that poured through the bonds the moment their eyes reached me was terrifying.

"Who did this?" Jasper's words were cold, and his expression was menacing.

I couldn't take it any longer. My entire body shook as sobs racked my body.

Each man rushed to me.

"Bless, bug. I'm so sorry." Aimon tucked me against his chest, stroking my hair and whispering soothing words while Jasper kissed away my tears.

"I'll kill them, goddess."

Bastian held my hand tightly. "This won't happen again, love."

Casper and Silas exchanged glances with each other as they kneeled close to me.

"They'll pay, sunshine. What the hell happened?" Casper's voice sounded broken.

"Tell us who did it," Silas pleaded with me.

"That would be me," Matthieu sang out, his voice echoing through the large room. He stood in the doorway, a spray potion in his hands as he grinned.

Before any of us could react, he sprayed some potion, filling the air with an overpowering scent.

My vision blurred, and my body felt heavy as I slumped against Aimon's chest.

The last thing I heard before everything went black was Matthieu's maniacal laughter followed by several loud thuds as the guys collapsed next to me.

CASPER

I awoke to a splitting headache, bound to a chair with thick ropes cutting into my skin. My vision barely adjusted to the darkness, and I noticed a few figures in chairs next to me. Blinking away the fog, I realized that it was Fawn and the rest of the guys.

I had no idea how long we had been out or what had happened while we were under the effects of Matthieu's weird potion. All I knew was that it didn't look good.

My hands curled into fists at my sides as rage funneled through me. We had all promised her that we would take care of it and make sure Matthieu never touched her again--but we had failed.
