My brows arched as I watched his irritable demeanor.

He filled the ladle and poured the potion into a couple of empty vials that were sitting next to the cauldron. Then he took a dropper, dipping it into the cauldron and bringing it up to his mouth, dripping the potion on his tongue.

His eyes fluttered shut, and the irritating expression on his face twitched back into his normal expression. Bastian's eyes opened wide as he gasped. "I amsosorry." He glanced at us "I was so rude. Side note, rage potions also work on mages," he muttered to himself.

"You don't have to apologize. It was clearly the rage potion," I said softly. That was only the after-effects of the rage potion. I couldn't imagine what it would do to a mage fully.

"Yeah, don't sweat it." Jasper shrugged.

"You weren't that bad," Casper agreed. "You were kind of like Silas all the time."

"You couldn't help it," Silas assured him, scowling at Casper. "And I'm not that much of a dick all the time."

Casper smirked and shrugged.

"You were asleep for a few hours," Aimon told Bastian. "Dinner's ready."

Bastian's stomach growled, and he shot us a shy grin. "Guess I am pretty hungry."

"I'd say so. You haven't eaten anything today." Aimon shook his head as we gathered around the table.

Aimon and Bastian snagged the spots next to me while the twins and Silas sat across from us.

Aimon had made seasoned meat and some fruit, and it smelled divine, like always.

"I'll make a bulk order of this antidote tonight," Bastian murmured. "I have no need for the rage potion anymore, and I accidentally used it all anyway." He let out a self-deprecating chuckle. "I am really sorry. I shouldn't have said what I said."

"You're fine, Bastian. It was just the potion," I told him as Aimon nodded in agreement.

"But for the record, if you and Aimon wanted to distract me, sunshine, I would be more than happy to not just be distracted but to join in." Casper smirked as Bastian blushed a deep crimson.

"I was actually inviting Bastian to do that right before he spilled the potion on himself," Aimon admitted.

Jasper whined, stabbing at the piece of meat on his plate. "Why didn't you wake us up? We would've loved to be invited to that."

"I'm always down for anything with all of you," I told them, heat racing through me.

Silas choked on his food, beating a fist against his chest as he calmed down. "I wasn't expecting you to say that, muse."

"Why, Silas? Does it give you some naughty ideas?" Jasper teased.

Silas shrugged, but pink scattered across his cheeks. "I'll take Fawn whenever she wants me to."

"I can relate to that feeling," Bastian mumbled.

Desire throbbed through me, settling hot in my throat. "You know, Ilovehaving a stove that runs on fire magic," I changed the subject, taking a piece of meat into my mouth and savoring the tender bite.

"Hmm. Quick change of subject?" Jasper smirked, leaning onto his elbows as his garnet eyes burned into me. "Is it because you're turned on and want us to act on our wants for you?"

"I think she does," Casper rasped, rubbing his jaw. "I can feel it through the bond, sunshine."

"Or maybe she wants to be a good girl and finish her meal for me." Aimon was the one who took pity on me as I shoveled food into my mouth. "I can't imagine not having a stove."

"I can think of another way she could be a good girl for all of us," Jasper muttered, and lust burned through my veins. "But it's weird to think of how old you are, goddess."

My eyes widened, and Casper chuckled.

"You were around before stoves, sunshine. It's pretty weird, but I like it." He winked.
