“I’m more than happy to show you what it feels like,” he growled before leaning forward and claiming my lips with his.
More heat rushed south as his lips moved against mine with an urgency that made me want to wrap my legs around his waist.
“Stop that,” Alister hissed, grabbing Damien’s shoulder and pushing him a step away from me.
“But she tastes so fucking good,” he whined, and Kian bit his lip.
“I bet she does,” Alister hissed, giving me a side eye. “But I won’t let you take advantage of her current state.”
“He’s not,” Kian said. “She kissed him last night.”
“Did she?” Alister’s brows shot up.
“I was her first kiss,” Damien gloated, making his shadows wriggle in front of Alister as if they were teasing him.
“Regardless, with the way she was kissing you, it was going to lead to more. I’d rather it not be in the lobby of Arcane Hall.” Alister swatted at the shadows, and they dispersed.
“We can agree there.” He shrugged. “I’ll take her to the woods so she can shift and run off the extra energy.”
Damien pulled me back into his arms, and I melted into him. Kian flew forward and grabbed his shoulder just as he faded out of Arcane Hall.
I saw Alister’s red eyes flash a darker crimson, and he bared his fangs at Damien as we left him behind.
All three of us ended up in the Bestial Forest a moment later.
Kian wheezed, holding his stomach before emptying the contents at his feet. “Shadow traveling is intriguing.” He gasped, stepping back from the vomit. “Maybe next time, I’ll walk.”
“You jumped in without my awareness,” Damien stated with a yawn as he stretched his arms over his head, and we all walked a few feet away from Kian’s stomach contents. “If I knew you were coming, I could’ve made it more comfortable.”
Scarlet heat caressed my cheeks as I drew up a shallow breath. My core pulsed with need, and I stepped back a couple of feet. My body was urging me to shift if it didn’t get a release, so I gave in to it. There was no way I was going to pleasure myself with these two around.
Magic resonated in my bones as the familiar tingles shot to every nerve in my body. The pent up energy from the pheromones faded as the magic within me took over.
The forest around me got larger as I shrunk until my uniform engulfed me and blackness consumed my vision.
I pawed at the uniform in an attempt to find an opening but ended up getting tangled in the fabric. After a couple more failed attempts at wiggling out of the clothing pile, I let out a small yip to signal for help.
Next time I shifted, I’d have to do it naked because this was embarrassing. What would’ve happened if I were alone? I would’ve had to shift back and probably tear my clothes in the process.
The clothes were being taken off me, and whichever man had decided to help was untwisting the tie from my leg so I could get free. The last piece of clothing was pulled off my head, and I pounced onto the dirt of the forest floor, swishing my tail.
Kian crouched down with my clothes in his hands, so I pranced toward him and jumped to lick his cheek in a thank you.
“She’s so little,” Kian mumbled, pushing his glasses on top of his head with a smile that accentuated his dimples. “I’ve never seen an arctic fox so little before. Foxes are small by nature, but she’s like a miniature breed.”
I let out a growl and strutted over to Damien. I wasn’t a miniature breed of arctic fox. I was an arctic fox. Although, my dad was a lot bigger than I was. My fox form stopped growing when I was four.
I nuzzled my face against his leg with a squeak that made him chuckle.
“She’s fucking cute is what she is. She’s the size of my forearm!” He reached down to stroke my fur.
I stretched my paws in front of me and arched my back with a growl. I wasn’t just cute. I was dangerous like any other shifter could be. And I’d prove it.
Wiggling my butt to build up energy, I jumped up to nip one of Damien’s fingers, slicing his skin open on my tooth, before turning and darting farther into the forest.
Cool air slid through my fur as my paws propelled me forward, and Damien’s dark chuckle seemed to bounce off the trees.
Damp earth and foliage filled my nostrils as I leapt over rocks and fallen trees until I came to the large rock in the creek bed Lachlan and I had sat on.
