"Was that necessary?" Sullivan dusted off his chest.
"Well, you weren't exactly smacking her hands away!" I growled as I walked past him and toward the stairs to the VIP rooms. Frankly, I didn't care if Sullivan followed me.
Okay, maybe I did.
My heart was beating out of control as I walked down the hallway to the unoccupied room we usually reserved for business purposes and entered the code to unlock the door.
Before I could get the door open, Sullivan pushed me against the door, his hips pinning me in place and his mouth lowering to my ear. "Are you jealous, Zayn?"
My skin broke out in goosebumps as he ran his nose down my neck. My dick was already pulsing, but when he inhaled deeply, it nearly exploded.
"I'm not jealous." I tilted my head to the side and his tongue ran back up my neck to my ear.
"Sure you're not." He bit my earlobe, and I clutched the door handle. "Are you going to open the door or am I going to fuck you right here against it?"
Without hesitation, I opened the door and pulled him inside the semi-dark room. Our lips collided as he kicked the door closed, and I stumbled backward toward the sofa. Hands were everywhere and I was all too aware of Sullivan's dick as we fell onto the couch, him pressed down on top of me.
What the hell was I doing?
I shoved him off me, sending him with a thump to the floor. There was no way I could fuck around with him without Wren. What if she got mad and decided neither of us was worth her time?
"What the hell, man?" Sullivan sat up, his eyes narrowing. "You can't kiss me like that and then shove me off you."
Running my hands over my face, I stared up at the ceiling. "Wren."
"What about her? She'll come join us once she's done with Kingston." He grunted as he got to his feet and put his hands on his hips, which only drew my attention to the bulge in his pants.
"What if she sees us together and decides wedon't need her too?" I sat up and adjusted myself. "She already has one foot out the door."
Sullivan threw up his hands and walked toward the minibar in the corner. He snatched a bottle of tequila and sat down at the table, swiveling toward me after throwing the spout from the tequila on the table.
"She isn't going anywhere." I licked my lips as he took a swig, his Adam's apple looking lickable. "If she does, then we follow her and drag her ass back here."
Now he was talking my love language. "We'd need to get a bed that has been properly outfitted for restraints."
He was on his second drink and started choking, his fist going to his chest as he coughed. I jumped up and ran to him, smacking his back. He shoved the tequila bottle at me as his coughing fit subsided. "Drink."
"I'm not going to get drunk and let you fuck me." I took a sniff and winced slightly as the strong fumes hit my nose. "We can't let her leave, Sully."
His jaw clenched and he cleared his throat. "I was joking about dragging her back."
I frowned at the bottle of tequila. "I wouldn't be surprised if you both left. It's not like I'm going to bearound anyway." I tilted my head back and poured a long stream of liquid into my mouth.
Sullivan stood and took the bottle from me, setting it on the table. "It's going to be fine."
"I killed two men." Saying it out loud made it even more real, and I stumbled back a step, my fingers digging into my hair in frustration. "I didn't mean to."
Trying to think back to it, it was like a blur of red had washed over me. I hadn't even tried to stop my wolf from taking over. I'd gone straight for their throats.
"You were protecting Wren and your sister." Something dark passed through his eyes before he shook his head. "Our animal instinct is to do whatever it takes to protect our loved ones."
"You aren't scared of me?" I let him tug my hands free from my hair and he grabbed the back of my neck in a possessive grip, bringing our foreheads together.
"If anything, it makes me want you even more." His eyes darkened. "As infuriating as you are and all."
"How did this happen?" My breath caught in my throat as his other hand went to the button on my pants.
His tongue darted out, wetting his lips andgrazing lightly across my bottom lip. I didn't know what it was about this guy, but his heated stare was like a siren's call.
