Sullivan grunted, and I opened my eyes enough to watch him come all over his hand. His head went back against the tree, his chest heaving.
It was only then that I wondered where Zayn was.
"I didn't hurt you, did I?" Kingston brought my thoughts back to him, and I turned my head to look at my shoulder. There were two quickly healingpuncture marks, and I oddly didn't want them to heal. I wanted his mark on me forever.
"No. It was perfect." I sighed as he pulled out. "I like it a little rough."
His hand moved over my ass, and I sucked in a breath, the skin still tender from his punishment. He kissed my neck and then stood, holding out a hand to me. I got to my feet, my legs still trembling and my mind reeling from what had just happened.
I'd given up on the thought that he and Zayn would forgive me for lying to them. If the roles were reversed, I didn't know if I'd be so forgiving. But was I really forgiven, or was he fulfilling a primal need to put me on my knees?
Stop being so pessimistic.
"We can get cleaned up in that stream and then we need to talk as soon as Zayn gets back with his sister." He bent down and grabbed my clothes, shaking them to get the dirt and leaves off them.
I took them and held them against my chest, suddenly feeling awkward being naked in front of him and Sullivan. Sullivan had already headed toward the stream, and I wondered what him watching meant. As far as I knew, he still hated me, yet there he was. On top of that, he made the choice to stay and watch, and got off doing so.
"Wait. His sister?"
"Yeah. Her name is Zola. She wasn't in her human form?" Kingston wrapped an arm around my waist as we walked back toward the stream, his thumb moved back and forth across my skin.
The gesture gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling, but in the back of my mind, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and for him to remember I'd deceived them.
"I woke up in a basement with her in another cell and she wouldn't shift. They didn't know I was a fox, so once they were upstairs, I got through the bars, swiped the keys, and got us both out. They were chasing us after we escaped. She was in pretty bad shape."
His fingers tightened possessively on my waist. "Mateo and Chad have been dealt with, so you don't need to worry about them anymore. Where was Zola when you last saw her?"
"She was in a hunting cabin about a quarter of a mile or so from here."
"Not when we got there. Zayn went to find her." Kingston sighed as we got to the stream and let me go.
He looked exhausted, and I had the sudden urge to wrap my arms around him and give him a littlepick me up. I never went around advertising my healing abilities, but he'd already seen me healing Sullivan.
As he bent down and dipped his cupped hands into the stream, I put my hand on his lower back, my arm tingling as I gave him some energy.
He bolted upright and looked over at me, and then at my hand that had dropped to my side. "What did you do?"
Shrugging, I threw my clothes on a dry piece of grass and squatted to splash water onto my thighs and lady bits. I was sure it didn't look ladylike, but I didn't want to walk around with cum dripping out everywhere. The cool water felt good against my skin, and I sighed, wishing I could have one day to lie in the middle of a stream and do nothing at all.
Sullivan cleared his throat and kept his eyes averted. "We should get back to the cabin and wait for Zayn. We need to decide what to do with Mateo and the other bodies."
"Bodies?" I stood, grabbed my clothes, and followed him as he started walking.
"Zayn killed two of Marcos's guys." Sullivan picked up his pace. "As soon as he caught his sister's scent at Marcos's house, he snapped. Although, Ithink he really started losing it when you went missing."
I moved in front of him, and he stopped, looking past me. "Don't make this weird."
"I'm not making anything weird." He looked back over his shoulder and then finally at me. "I thought someone was hurting you and... well. It happened, and I apologize for watching."
"Don't apologize." My cheeks felt like they were on fire. "I was, um..."
"It was hot as hell, and you're welcome to watch anytime." Kingston came to stand beside me and took my hand. "If Wren wants."
Now it was weird.
"I think... maybe... um. Well. Zayn should be involved in the conversation." My heart pounded in my chest, thinking about my dream from that morning happening and Kingston not being done with me. "Now's not really a good time to discuss this."
"You're right. We have bodies to dispose of." Sullivan brushed past us, his cheeks slightly pink.
