The dining room and kitchen is full of our loved ones. Bill and Cathy stand with coffee cups in their hands, talking quietly with Graham and Callum’s mom and dad. David is sitting with Midnight in his lap, smiling at whatever Jason and Alyra are joking about. My heart is overflowing with love. Demitri gathers everyone while carrying a plate full of French toast to the big dining room table.
“Let’s eat, then we can open gifts.” Demitri calls out while exchanging a smirk with Graham.
These boys are up to something.
There is wrapping paper everywhere. The guys have been balling it up and throwing it at each other. All the gifts have been opened, and now we are all just relaxing in the living room. Graham, I think, is trying to clean up but is also still throwing the wads of used wrapping paper at his brother. Amanda has the sweetest smile on her face watching her boys be so carefree.
“Hey Dee, I think we missed one.” Graham has a tiny box wrapped in blood-red metallic wrapping paper with a small black ribbon wrapped around it, in his hand.
“Oh, yes.” Demitri stands from the couch and pulls me up with him. “Come with me, Little Fox.”
“What’s going on?” I look around at everyone in the living room. Kyra is practically glowing. “You know something, just remember payback’s a bitch there, bestie.” I jokingly threatened my best friend.
Demitri places my back to him, next to the tree, and he leans down to whisper in my ear. “I need you to stand here for a moment, turn to face me and close your eyes.”
Facing Demitri, and Graham, closing my eyes. The sound of paper tearing makes me want to open my eyes, but I squeeze them shut as tight as I can. Fighting the urge to sneak a peek.
Each of them grab one of my hands before they say simultaneously, “Open your eyes.”
Before me, both of my gorgeous men are down on one knee in front of me. Kyra and Amanda are already crying.
“Little Fox, from the moment either of us laid eyes on you, you have been all we could have ever wanted for ourselves. Your beautiful broken pieces fit perfectly with ours and we will love you until the day we die and probably even longer. Will you make us the happiest men on the planet and marry us?” Demitri looks terrified and I lean down to press my lips to his.
“So, is that a yes?” Dee asks, pulling away.
“I don’t know how we will make this work, but absolutely yes. I would love to marry you both.” I jump into Demitri’s arms the second he stands, and I wrap around him like a spider monkey.
My Christmas Day is perfect! The family we created for ourselves. I don’t know how this threesome will work legally, but right now I don’t care.
EPILOGUE: NYX
The mountains are absolutely gorgeous. The leaves are the perfect warm hues of fall. Reds, oranges, and golden yellows tint the warm sunlight as it disappears behind the mountains. The music is a dull hum in the background as I watch the stars start to twinkle in the light hues of purple of the night.
The warm arms of my husband wrap around me, his black dress shirt sleeves rolled up above his elbows. His fresh tattoo is on full display. A black heart, with today’s date, and all three of our names wind through it in a bright red color, the flesh still pink around it.
“I love you, Wifey.” Demitri whispers in my ear.
“I love you too, Husband.” A warm smile lines my face.
The night after they asked me to marry them, they told me about how they had already talked about Demitri making me his wife, but Graham still wanted to commit himself to me. We had a gorgeous wedding in the Olympic Mountains; with all of our friends and family. My dress a white wedding dress with black lace overlay, and red accents to match the gorgeous ring Demitri had picked out for me. After everyone moved to the reception, the small group of us, including Kyra, Cal, Jason, Alyra, andDavid went to a clearing, a short walk from the venue. Here, we had a handfasting ceremony that bound the three of us together for always.
“Come, Little Fox. Graham and I have a surprise for you.” He leads me away from the sunset to our little secluded cabin on the side of this mountain.
Lifting the layers of lace and tulle to climb the steps just moments before I am scooped up by Demitri, bridal style. He carries me up the stairs and across the threshold.
“Put me down, Demon.” I laugh.
“Never, not till you are in our bed.” He walks into the bedroom and my jaw drops.
The room lit completely by the glow of hundreds of electric candles. Deep red rose petals line the top of the king-size bed. Demitri sets me gently on my feet, just as Graham walks out of the bathroom in just his black boxer briefs. The skin tight material clinging to him, giving me a preview of everything.
“There is our beautiful bride.” Graham stalks across the floor like a predator who has spotted his prey. “Have I told you yet today how absolutely stunning you are?”
I softly nod my head. Between the two of them, I don’t go more than a few moments without them reminding me throughout the day. Both of them are now standing on either side of my body. Demitri uses his pointer finger to drag my gaze up to his. I am addicted to their attention. He brings his lips crashing to mine. Our kiss at the altar was way more PG-13 than the one happening now.
He breaks our kiss before pushing my head over to Graham’s waiting lips. They both taste like the expensive champagne we have been toasting with all night. The bubbles and alcohol warm my stomach.
Hands rove my body, unlacing the corset back of my dress. The fabric slips down to pool at my feet, and then a gasp leaves Demitri, causing Graham to break our kiss.
