Yessss.

She wanted those muscles banded around her, holding tight and not letting go. She wanted to feel all that raw power. She wanted him to control her and make her body sing like it had never heard real music before.

But not quite yet. She still had to make sure there was no equipment left outside to rattle around or be swept overboard by the wind.

“Give me one more minute, then we can get comfortable below,” she shouted, amplifying her voice to be heard over the rising wind.

Unable to take her eyes completely off Buck, Bobbie noticed he had a backpack slung over one shoulder.

“What do you have?” she called out loudly, curious.

It couldn’t be kibble. Buck would know that she had the dogs more than covered for supplies.

“Breakfast,” he grinned, his booming voice projecting easily over the whistling gusts that were starting to pick up. He walked easily across her deck and deposited the bag just inside her hatch. Then he came back to help her with her remaining bench cushions. “I know you’ve had a long night, and I didn’t think you’d want to cook,” he said, almost into her ear, which elicited shivers that had nothing to do with the damp. “So I stopped at the diner down the street and got us a feast.”

Bobbie moved away so she didn’t just immediately jump him, and realized how grateful she was that she didn’t have to cook. That would allow her to save all her energy for…other things.

She breathed in deeply, hoping to fill her nostrils with Buck’s scent, but despite the backpack being closed, the delicious smells that wafted up her nose were merely food related.

Her stomach growled loudly.

Sure. The wind chosethatmoment to die down, so the noise wasn’t hidden.

But could she be blamed? Bobbie hadn’t exactly eaten much at the party the night before when she’d been bored to tears by her dinner partner. And the few power bars she’d scarfed down as she’d sailed, had long since made their way south of her stomach. The gurgling noise within her, upped its ante.

“What the hell?” Buck snickered, pointing to her gut where the bear-like noises were still emerging.

Bobbie wasn’t embarrassed in the least, and shrugged. “Bring me food, expect a visceral reaction,” she laughed. “I don’t know how you feel, butIalways take it as a compliment when someone’s body gets loud around the food I make.”

Buck grinned. “Okay. Consider me complimented. But I think we should finish up here damned soon, so I don’t have to fear for my safety. With a reaction like that, you might just start feasting on me if we don’t get food inside you, fast.”

Bobbie turned slowly in his direction, lowered her lashes, and gave him a look she hoped was as sultry as she imagined. “I might just do that,” she agreed smoothly. “But I promise if it happens, there’ll be no teeth.”

Color moved up Buck’s cheeks, and Bobbie reveled in it.

Yup. She had his number.

The man had always fantasized blowjobs, and when she’d attempted to assuage that craving in his van a few days earlier, he’d stopped her before hitting the jackpot. That meant she was going to make sure he didn’t miss out on getting the gold this second time when she had him in her mouth, again.

Buck growled something deep and primitive sounding in his throat, and Bobbie was sure if she looked down, the front of his jeans would have expanded aggressively, but that was all part of her plan.

She blinked, turning all innocent while he found his tongue.

Eventually, he managed a few words.

“Okay. Enough,” he clipped. “Food first. For us and the dogs. Then you can have your way with me.”

Bobbie’s nipples tightened. And they weren’t standing up at attention because of the cold salt spray that was becoming more aggressive by the minute.

Uh, uh.This bodily reaction was all for Buck.

Soon, Bobbie, she told herself.Soon.

She stood up straight and looked around. “Okay. Everything looks good out here,” she confirmed. “Let’s get ourselves and the dogs below before we’re all drenched. Then I’ll make sure everything in the cabin is secure before we eat.”

“Got it,” Buck responded, and before she could even move, he had the dogs unhooked, had scooped them up, one in each arm, and was headed down the two steps into the darkness.

Bobbie followed right behind, flipping on the interior lights and pulling the main cabin hatch closed behind them. When she turned, Buck was right there, without the dogs this time, and he pulled her straight into his arms.
