“Anyone care to explain why I had a catfight in my foyer?”

“I simply came down here to bring a contract for Landon to sign. I was doing my job.”

Abby scoffs. “Do you want to share with the class how you manipulated me into thinking you were fucking them to get rid of me? I still have the picture if you would like to see it to refresh your memory.”

Landon stiffens beneath her. “You still have the photo?”

She nods.

“I did what needed to be done—you would have held them back. Landon was considering turning down his offer because he wanted to stay close to you, and the deal required both of them. You would have destroyed his career.”

“That wasn’t your choice to make,” Landon seethes.

“Of course it was. Levi would have done whatever the fuck you wanted to do. And for what, a warm cunt you both shared? How would that have looked to the NHL, huh?”

“The same way it looked for our sister, and things worked out fine for her,” Levi snaps.

“Can you all juststop,” I say, rubbing my temples. “You need to keep your private bullshit out of here. Sort this shit out on your own time.”

“See? He gets it,” Anastasia purrs.

“For the record,” I say, making eye contact with her, “what you did is gross misconduct in your role. If I were Landon and Levi, I would file a sexual harassment claim and fire you. You seriously overstepped professional boundaries. Their love life is none of your business, the same as it is none of mine.”

“I like you,” Abby says.

“Ditto, but please refrain from skull-fucking anyone in the foyer.”

She snorts, and Anastasia makes a screeching noise in her throat.

“I don’t need this shit. When you both come to your senses, call me.” With those words, she storms out of my office.

“If you three plan to be together, I suggest you get on top of the press before she leaks any of your private information. I donotneed any bad press right now. Not when both Thomas and I are trying to prove that we can run this team.”

“It’s all my fault. I tried to ignore her, but she baited me. I knew what she was doing, and I reacted anyway. I’m Abby, by the way.”

“Tate, nice to meet you.”

“I was just stopping by to see if I could catch a ride home. The driver of the rideshare gave me the creeps. So when he stopped at a set of lights, I got out and ran away.”

Landon’s grip on her visibly tightens.

“What driver?” Levi snaps. “I’ll kill him.”

“Okay, Rambo, maybe tone it down a little. I’m fine, but I am starving.”

“Levi, take Abby to the café around the corner—I’ll catch up with you. I just need to talk to Tate first.”

Abby wiggles her ass as she gets up off Landon’s lap.

To my shocked amusement, Levi bends down, and she jumps on his back. Levi makes a horse sound, and Abby laughs as she squeals, “Giddy up!”

Once they leave my office and the door closes behind them, I look over at Landon, who is staring at me.

“What can I help you with?” I ask when he doesn’t speak, and his stare gets intense.

“Maybe it’s something I can help you with,” he says, his gaze not wavering from me.

I raise a brow. “I’m not following.”
