I grab the phone, holding it in front of her face to unlock it, and then start going through her text messages.
It looks like she hasn't sent any since that night, even though she has several from a girl named Kira, asking what happened to her and where she's been, and a few others from Dax, which she also left on read.
Then, I open her socials and unblock my accounts before sharing her location with my number.
I go through her photos for the rest of class, hoping she has some nudes somewhere on her camera roll, only to end up disappointed.
"Find anything interesting?" she asks once class ends and everyone begins packing up their things.
"Nope. You're just as boring and tragic as I anticipated. You need to text whoever that girl is, though," I tell her, tossing her phone back onto her desk. It bounces off the corner, falling to the ground beneath the seat in front of her, and she scowls at me. "Act fucking normal, Saige. She's worried about you."
"And what am I supposed to tell her?"
"I don't know. Why don't you start a fight? End the friendship? You don't really need friends anymore, anyway, Saige—not that you've ever had many, but you've got us now. And you're going to be busy."
She ignores me, getting down on the ground on all fours before reaching under the seat in front of her, digging around for her lost phone.
Her ass cheeks stick out from the bottom of her shorts, a thin strip of material barely covering her pussy.
"I bet you'd find it faster if you opened your legs a little more. It'd probably be more comfortable for you, too. It's what you're used to, right?"
Her hand closes around her phone, and she stands, quickly adjusting her clothing before grabbing her bag. I get up right after her, blocking her exit just to see the fear on her face one more time.
She swallows, shaking her head slightly, and then forces herself to make eye contact with me. "Elias, can I please just go?"
She said please. I like that.
"I still have textbooks to pick up. I haven't eaten."
"You need to come over when you're finished and do the laundry."
She shrugs. "Fine. Anything else?"
"Don't forget to send me those notes."
"You're everywhere. How could I possibly forget?"
I step aside, allowing her to pass.
"Oh, and Saige?" She stops, slowing looking over her shoulder. "Stop Googling him. I'm fucking serious."
She doesn't reply before shuffling out of the classroom.
I laugh, throwing my bag over my shoulder. I was pissed about repeating psych, but now…
No more Miles. And I have Saige to do it all for me. Once I get bored with toying with her, I won't even have to show up.
But I don't think that will happen anytime soon. I haven't felt this alive in a while.

Saige
Make his breakfast. Do his homework and his fucking laundry.
I fucked up. I know I fucked up, but he'll get tired of it, like I said. He'll get sick of having me around—that girl he's seeing certainly didn't like it.
