“Mhm…” Pushing his neck against his teeth, so Damian bit harder, a bit puzzled how that thick skin felt under his teeth, a small fright that he might hurt him, but Gabe just moaned, panting.
Alright…biting his way down his neck as he stroked him, that hard flesh leaking into his palm. He smiled, gliding back to Gabe’s ear. “Like this, you little fuck?” Looking into his eyes.
“Yes… don’t stop…”
“Close?”
“Uhum… so close…” He arched his neck back, arching his hips into his hand, as much as he could. Floating on his kisses, his teeth, that firm but gentle touch.More. More. Moaning when he lost it, pulsing into Damian’s hand. Feeling his strokes slow, but he didn’t stop, not even when Gabe had softened. He let his hands go though and rolled to the side, pulling him close. Rubbing his wrists gently.
A playful light above that fright in his eyes, holding him tight. “You ok?”
Gabe just nodded, his throat a bit tight, because it had been so good. He could not remember last when it had just been about him, amazed a bit that Damian just went with it. He searched his eyes. “It was great… really…”
“Surprised?” He grinned. “I may be a jerk, but I know my way around in bed.” Guessing his thoughts. “I have a dick too… ok?”
Gabe grinned back. “Ok.”
Damian grazed the light bruises on his neck. “I left marks…. Fuck… I’m sorry.”
Gabe cupped his mouth. “No… it’s fine… I loved it.”
Damian arched his eyebrows. “Ok…”
Gabe’s face flushed. “I like it… a bit rough…” Blowing a small breath. “Shouldn’t be too difficult for you, being an alpha male and all?”
Damian burst out laughing. “Ah… Right…” He smiled. “I can play rough… haven’t done it much though.”
“It was very convincing.”
“Good to know.”
Laying, listening to the rain, the flames warm on their skin. Shadows dancing with night falling on that ceiling filled with leaves. Something they would maybe see for the rest of their lives. A sudden despair creeping into that peaceful moment, a darkness with shivers running down their flesh, so Damian reached over and pulled the blanket over them. Gabe huddled close, lying in his arms, his face to the flames.
Tears in his voice. “Hold me tight.” Grabbing Damian’s hands, feeling his strong arms tighten.
“I’m here…” Not even sure if he was helping in that moment of mourning, in that overwhelming moment when he felt like howling too, but knew had to be stronger for Gabe. Damian held him closer, his lips on his ear. “I’ll always be with you, Gabe, ok? Until the end. Whatever that will be.”
Gabe closed his eyes to his voice, a rogue tear pearling down his face to Damian’s arm. “Promise?”
“I promise.”
“You hold them?”
“I will for you.”
“Promise me… that if… that if…”
“I promise. If it comes to that, I’ll do us both.” Gabe turned his head back to him, looking into those eyes dancing with shadows, and Damian smiled. “But let’s make sure it won’t come to that, ok?”
He smiled back above his tears, closing his eyes, letting him hold him in that warmth. He fell asleep, and Damian just held him, watching the dancing flames.
Chapter 9
Nextday, thesunwas up, that white sun, the air already sizzling hot. Gabe carved another day into the tree, another stick in that growing row of their second week. He joined Damian, who had tied a bag to his chest, taking the spear and a couple of bottles of water tied to the rope belt on his waist.
“Have the knife?”
Gabe patted his waist. “You’re sure about this hunt?”
