Her nails dug in again, molding his skin like clay. “Mine,” she swore. Her nipples tightened under the friction of his chest.

Her third orgasm tore through her, completely blindsiding her. As good as Ghost felt inside her, she hadn’t expected to come again. But she should have known better. Even after so little time together, he played her body like a master pianist. Shebucked against him and her thighs trembled. Ghost caught her lips with his own, swallowing her moans.

She felt him expand inside her as her body took in everything he could give her. As Becks collapsed back onto the mattress, her world hazy, she felt the softness of his lips against her temple and the declaration that centered her soul as hers had done for him.

“Mine.”

CHAPTER 14

The next three weeks went by in a flash. Becks finally met the entire club, and even received her own cut. The ol’ ladies were awesome. They were no Libby, but then again, her best friend was as unique as she was crazy. Becks had already met Dosia the first day she was on the property, and soon after met Harper, Tessa, Abby, Jasmine, Paige, Calliope, Sophia, Tally, Louisa, and to her amusement, Cage. Even though Cage was a club member, he was an honorary ol’ lady too. The running joke had started when Angel, his wife and another club member, had needed some space following a miscarriage. It had stuck, and Becks adored how Cage didn’t act overbearing, nor did he wig out when the women started talking about feminine things.

And his baby? Ophelia was adorable, and clung to her daddy like he was the center of her universe. Becks recalled Liam telling her that Cage also had an adult son from a teenage pregnancy. Though Aaron was currently deployed, so Becks couldn’t meet him, Cage’s pride in his son made her feel like she already had. Bree, Cage and Angel’s other daughter, was graduating high school in only a few weeks, and the ol’ lady meetings were full of preparation plans for her graduation party.

Becks was very grateful to Scotty, who had latched onto her as his newest aunt. The teen kneweveryone, and easily helped her when she struggled with a name or remembering relationships.

Becks’ first club run, the Sunday after she had arrived in Mount Grove, wasawesome. Ghost had taken her to the club’sHarley-Davidsondealership to get her proper gear, in addition to the helmet he’d already bought her before they’d left Alabama.

Most of her boxes were unpacked. Ghost’s closet was now her closet, with his amount of shoes and clothes minuscule in comparison. He hadn’t even had to buy a new dresser or anything, because all his things fit in the small one that had already been in the room. One morning, Becks got out of the shower to see what she thought was Ghost helping to unpack her boxes, until she realized he was putting thingsbackinto the box. When she asked what he was doing, he replied that she didn’t need her old underwear anymore. At first, Becks thought this was Ghost’s way of telling her to go around commando, which was a hard pass for her, but then he held up a pair of panties he grabbed from a drawer system within the closet.Ghostwas written along the top of the band on the back in silver sparkly letters.

Despite his audacity, and presumption, Becks couldn’t help but find it sexy. Damn him.

The bad part about getting her phone back was having to deal with the fallout of her botched wedding. Not only were family members pissed at or ashamed of her, but there was also a very distraught groom to deal with. Guilt seized Becks when she saw the number of text messages, emails, and missed phone calls from Ritchie. Except it wasn’t guilt for leaving him or marrying Ghost in his stead at their wedding. She’d almost married a man she now knew she didn’t love, causing him pain and suffering. What she didn’t understand was why she hadn’t seen it before her actual wedding day—which, of course, made her feel even guiltier!

His messages were filled with sorrow, trying to take the blame for their failed relationship. He wanted her to contact him, to figure out what he’d done wrong and maybe if they had a hope of ‘fixing them’. Becks had nearly started to cry, thinking herself an awful person, until his messages suddenly flipped. Just like at the wedding, he suddenly started spewing hateful and hurtful slurs at her. Calling her a whore, a biker slut, a fat cow, and a lot of other disgusting things. Thank God Ghost never knew aboutthosemessages, because he likely would have done something violent.

Becks must have been a glutton for punishment, though, because she listened to and read every single message Ritchie sent her. Maybe in a way, she hoped that would make them cosmically even. One of the last messages before she blocked Ritchie, he blamed her for being fired. While he didn’t go into details, Becks guessed it had something to do with him showing up drunk, and possibly high, to his own wedding.

She did not hide the fact that Ritchie left messages from Ghost. He knew about them and that she’d blocked her ex’s contact information. She just negated how nasty his last several messages had gotten.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t block family. She might not have a massive extended family, but she had enough that there was now a division of those who sided with Becks and sidedagainstBecks. At the end of the day, though, Becks and Liam’s mom told Becks that she loved her and supported her, no matter what. Which was all the approval Becks needed to be able to tell her family members to fuck off and stay out of her life.

Ghost and Becks’ rings finally showed up. Becks was thrilled, her finger feeling naked most days without it. It wasn’t likethe rings mattered in the long run—they were no less married without them—but they were symbolic. And holy hell did Ghost’s eyes flare when he finally got his ring on her finger. That night, he fucked her from behind while staring down at her property patch and their ringed hands clasped together.

“Never take this off,” he instructed her when he put it on her finger.“I don’t give a fuck what you’re doing or why you think you have to remove it—nevertake it off.”

Ghost’s possessiveness did not stop with his need to see his ring on her finger, his name over her ass, or his determination to make a baby. As soon as Becks got her phone back, he handed it over to Keys to do some techy stuff with it. Ghost needed to know where she was at all times. Becks wondered why that didn’t bother her, as she suspected it would have if anyone else had demanded such a thing. Maybe it was because it wasn’t one sided; Ghost had also handed his phone over to Keys to give her full access too.

Becks had blushed hotter than the sun when Ghost had instructed Keys to also make them a shared, password-protected drive where Becks and Ghost could easily exchange videos and photos. Based on Keys’ red face, he’d also picked up on what type of videos and photos they were, though Ghost hadn’t actually specified that part out loud.

They completed all the paperwork required for Becks to change her last name and move states. When Liam and the prospects had brought her things up on Ghost’s order, they’d also gotten her car. Which was good, because Becks had completely spaced about needing that.

After a long, detailed conversation about their finances, which got interrupted twice by their inability to keep their hands off each other, Becks quit her job with the stipulation that they could call her for special projects or if they were shorthanded. She left on good terms, and her boss was sorry to see her go but understood.

Ghost then commissioned Cage and the club’s construction company to soundproof one of the upstairs rooms, building Becks a recording studio for her podcast. Starbucks had also come over to help her set up and teach her how to expand into the video side of podcasts. The Cat Liveswas now her full-time job, and while she wasn’t raking in the dough, she did feel like she was able to contribute to the household.

So it pissed her off when Ghost would not take her money. And while, yes, he did make enough to support them both, Becks did not agree with his macho ‘what’s mine is yours and what’s yours is yours’ attitude. He wanted Becks to use her money towards whatever she wanted, from spa days to books or whatever it was he thought women spent their money on. He was not understanding that Becks needed to do her part too.

It was the first real argument they’d had, where neither of them seemed willing to give an inch. Becks hadn’t been sure how they would handle going to bed that night, but her offering to sleep on the couch only seemed to piss Ghost off even more.

“I don’t give a fuck how angry you are at me. Withhold sex, I don’t give a damn, but don’t youeversleep away from me,”he’d growled before curling himself around her that night.

In the end, it was a suggestion from the ol’ ladies that had ended the argument: Becks would put her money into a trust for their future children. That way Ghost would never touch it, and Becks didn’t feel like she was a mooch. All her money, but a small portion that she set aside in case of emergencies, would go into the trust Demo would work on setting up for any children she and Ghost might have.

Following that argument, Becks felt like she and Ghost could take on the world. And the closer Becks got to her period week, the more Ghost seemed determined to ensure it didn’t start.

Her dildo wasn’t the only toy in their arsenal. Ghost had some lighter impact play toys, like a padded paddle and tickle flogger, as well as many more bondage items. The only toy she made Ghost throw out was a bullet he admitted he had used with other women. He hadn’t minded, and ended up ordering a bunch more things for them to try. In addition to changing out all her underwear, he’d also replaced all her nightclothes with lingerie that allowed him easy access to her body.

After seeing how Ghost had reacted to his cut on her, Becks had started talking to Angel about getting a tattoo on her lower back that saidProperty of Ghost. It was supposed to be a surprise, but then Ghost caught Becks looking at similar designs on the internet. From that moment on, he was all in, and extremely excited for Becks’ upcoming appointment.
