Prince Walker

I’d lost track of time after my conversation with Andy when my phone rang and interrupted me. “What is it?” I snarled. I’d immersed myself in drawing up my plans.

“The Swiss are on board,” it was Andy. “Full buy-in. We just need to get the test results back and they’ll sign.” I felt a small swirl of satisfaction. “Wanna celebrate?” he continued. “I’m thinking drinks at The Oaks? I’ll book a table—”

“No,” I answered curtly. I wanted to celebrate alright, but not with the man on the other end of the phone. The rush of anticipated victory was making my cock hard. Did that make me a sick fuck? I didn’t give a damn.

“Oh-kaaay…” Andy dragged the word out. “Does this have anything to do with—?”

“None of your business,” I cut him off. I had no intention of discussing my private life with him. Andy Geller might be my best friend, but even he didn’t have an insight into my intimate matters – try as he might. I guess it was my own fault for letting him in on so many of my secrets. Our night at the club with Sasha and the other girls came immediately to mind. Andy had taken two hookers home, and I was betting he expected the same sort of thing was happening with Sasha.

Fuck. How could I have guessed how far from reality that would be right now?

“Just…be careful, okay?” he warned. I grunted in response. Sasha’s reaction to me that first night had been a shock. The way she’d stared at me in terror as she’d woken. And then that flat-eyed resignation when she’d laid herself across the bed. As if this was some quiet horror that she had no control over. It made my jaw clench. Call me anything you like, but rapist was not one of them. Hell no. Sasha Ramirez was going to be mine alright. But that decision would be all hers. My cock might be aching to be in her, but there was no way that would happen until she asked me first. And if I had my way, she wouldn’t just ask.

I glanced at my watch, picked up my phone and car keys, and got up from my desk, leaving my office briskly. Jane was at her desk as I swept past.

“Mr. Walker…”

I ignored her.

“Mr. Walker!”

I was gone.
