"That's where you're wrong, baby girl. I always know what's good for you." He says, before his lips crash down on mine, and the comeback I had on the tip of my tongue disappears.
Chapter six
Matt
I'm a weak man. I can't stop myself. I'm drawn to her like a moth to a flame.
When I first press my lips to hers, she stands still under me for a split second, probably not sure what to do. But then she responds, her body arches into mine, pushing her breasts into me. My hands roam over her strong, curvy body. Gripping her ass, I lift her up. She wraps her legs and arms around me.
Over the years, I've done my best to keep away, but now that she's right here, I can't stay away. Even worse than that, feeling her in my arms, I know that I'll never be able to give her up either. She's mine and I'm not going to let anyone take her away from me. Not whoever this fucker is that is trying to terrorize her, her dad, or even herself.
No one.
My cock is so hard, it might just break through my pants, especially when she starts rubbing that perfect pussy against me.The heat from her infiltrates my body, and I know that if I don't stop this right now, I'll be taking this all the way.
"Ugh." I groan out loud, pulling my mouth away from hers. My chest heaving with desire.
"What's wrong?" she says, I can hear concern in her voice.
Laying my head on her shoulder, I mumble, "Nothing. I just can't take you right here. It wouldn't be fair."
"It's fine, Matt. I've had sex on a kitchen counter before. It's not a big deal." She says with a sharp tone.
One of the many things that I love about her is her smart mouth and bratty attitude, even if it drives me nuts most of the time. "I don't want to hear about you having sex with other men, Elsie." I groan.
"I get it. But I'm a big girl." She sasses back at me.
Pulling away from her, looking into those beautiful sea green eyes with fire blazing out of them, "Stop being a brat. Don't you worry, I'm going to erase every man from your head, and all you're ever going to think about is me."
I can't help but smile when I see her shiver, knowing that I'm affecting her as much as she's affecting me.
My phone rings, breaking the little bubble that we are in, placing her on the counter. I step away from her. I grab my phone out of my pocket and see that it's Phil, Elsie's dad, throwing a bucket of water over the lust filled moment.
"Hey, Phil," I say looking over at Elsie, who's head seems to be dropped in shame. Yeah, I'm going to fix that.
"We're here. Have the police found anything yet?" I ask him.
I nod and listen as he continues to explain everything that's going on with the investigation of the incident at her apartment. I grunt, letting him know that I'm listening but not really liking that the police don't have any clues.
"Do you want me to call my contact with the FBI?" I ask him, when Elsie lets out a sigh.
I watch as she slides down the counter, then slips out of the kitchen doorway. Everything in me wants to follow and make sure that she's okay, but I need to focus on this first. Her safety is the whole reason we're here in the first place.
"No. I'm going to give them a little bit longer before I go around them." Phil says, then pauses for a moment. "Matt, just make sure you keep my daughter safe. You know how much she means to me."
"I do. Elsie is special. Nothing will happen to her. I promise." I tell him.
"Thanks. You're the only one I trust." He says, and my stomach clenches, feeling as if I've been punched in the gut.
He left her in my care and I'm over here lusting after her. As much as I don't want to betray our friendship, I know in my deepest of hearts that I won't be able to stay away either. I'm just going to have to prove to her and him that we're meant to be together.
That way he won't be able to deny me, when he sees how much we're meant to be.
"Keep me updated. And I'll let you know if anything happens here." I tell him. When we hang up, I place the phone in my pocket, I glance over at the clock. It's almost dinner time.
Every part of me wants to go and search for her, instead I decide to make dinner for us, giving her time to process all that has happened.
When I had the fridge stocked up, I made sure to grab what I knew were her favorites. I reach in and start pulling out the supplies to make tacos. They're easy to make and delicious. She's probably super hungry after our trip. I don't think she's eaten since we left the hospital this morning.
