“Give me a few and I’ll get us some to-go containers, and we’ll head out.”
I nodded. I looked at the food and I’d eaten only a few fries and about half of my mac ’n’ cheese. My sandwich was still in the wrapper and Clay’s food looked completely untouched. He’d obviously been staring at me while I was lost in my thoughts.
I smiled up at him when he returned with a trio of boxes and a bag. We quickly got our food packed up, and then after cleaning the rest of our mess, we left with our food. Outside, my panda already felt better, and I turned to look back at the restaurant.
“Did you forget something?”
I shook my head. “Not that I can think of.” I looked down at my hands and I had my drink in the one. My wallet was still in my pocket and my phone was in the other. “No. I have everything.” Clay placed his drink and the food on the cover of the bed and then opened my door for me. I climbed in and placed the drink in the cupholder.
“Would you put mine in, please?” I nodded and took Clay’s drink, placing it beside mine. “What’s going on, sweetie? I understand thoughts getting the best of us. But what happened in there?” Clay rubbed my thigh, the worry written on his face.
“I don’t know. I felt so much better as soon as we came outside though.”
Clay glanced back at the restaurant and then nodded once. “All right. Let’s get home and we’ll see what you’re feeling then.”
I smiled, but I knew Clay wasn’t buying it. Not completely at least. He placed the food in the back seat, then went around the truck and climbed in. We were on the road and on our way home in no time. Turning left out of the parking lot wasn’t happening though, and he ended up going right and then around the block. I learned a new way to get to the neighborhood, and although I’d probably never be able to remember it again, it was good to know that there were alternate ways if traffic was bad.
Clay parked in the driveway, and after giving me a concerned look, he slid from the truck. I waited for him this time, and when he opened my door for me, I smiled down at him. “I didn’t mean to spoil the mood.”
“You didn’t,” he said. We carried our lunch into the house, and after Clay stuffed it all into the fridge, he pulled me to the backyard. I hadn’t been out here yet, and I gasped at the gorgeousness of it.
“No. You have all of this?”
Clay grinned. “Yep. We all do. And the eight-foot fences for privacy. So you can strip right here and shift.”
I didn’t need to be told twice. Immediately I toed off my shoes and pulled my shirt over my head. I had my pants and underwear off in a flash, and after I struggled to take my socks off, I was finally naked. Clay was standing there mostly naked, staring.
I looked at him and raised an eyebrow in question. “I can’t help it. You’re sexy as fuck and you’re mine. I want you again, and I’m probably going to be hornier than usual for the next several months. Silver and Charlie still disappear frequently and they’ve been mated for a while now.”
“Is that a bad thing?” I didn’t think it was, but I didn’t know much about mates.
“No, sweetie, it’s not.”
I nodded. I knelt down, and when I looked up, I found myself staring right at Clay’s impressive cock. It was right there, and it would be super easy to lean forward and take it into my mouth, but I didn’t. I would later. I’d learn how to pleasure him that way later. Right now, I wanted to shift and spend time in my panda form. Clay had several large trees here in his backyard and there was a small tree house in one and a platform on another. There was a rope bridge that connected them and I couldn’t wait to climb up and run across that bridge.
I called for my panda and this was by far the fastest shift I’d ever done. One minute I was still in my human form, the next I was in my little panda one. I took a long stretch and then shook out my fur and then stretched again.
I heard a noise to my right and jumped when I looked over. I’d expected Clay in his human form, but instead, there was a massive gorilla there.
“I’m sorry, sweetie. I didn’t mean to scare you.”
I stood up on my back legs and held my front ones to him. Then I fell forward and walked over to my mate.“It’s all right. I was expecting the human side of you.”Immediately there was a sense of contentment that washed over me.“Clay?”I rubbed on him, and that made my panda even happier.
I heard him chuckle and then found myself swept up into his arms. I looked at him, and if I could, I would have smiled at him. He rushed across the yard and then was climbing the ladder up to the tree house effortlessly. Once inside, he set me down and I got my first look at the place. it was way nicer than a normal tree house.
“There’s a bed in here.”
“Yes. The cushion is for an outside lounge, so it’s weatherproof. Which was needed since the house is open.”
“Do you sleep out here or something?”
“Not usually. But I have been known to nap here sometimes. For the most part I’ll go inside after I’ve spent time in this form. I like to sit in the hot tub and then shower.”
“You have a hot tub?”I glared at my mate. He didn’t know I was glaring though because I was this tiny little red panda compared to his massive gorilla.
“It’s the other door in the bedroom. We’ll get there as soon as we’re finished playing out here. Then we can go to the shower and then we’ll see where things are for the rest of the day.”
I knew exactly what he was saying without saying the words. I saw the rope bridge and suddenly I had the zoomies, and I couldn’t resist running across. I took off at full speed, and I knew that although it felt like I was flying, in reality I wasn’t. I wasn’t fast, and I wasn’t massive or strong, but my small size could be useful when it came to playing hide-and-seek.
