“Clay…” I bit my lower lip hard and took a deep breath, trying to get my body under control. “I’m about to come again,” I warned.

Clay smiled and then leaned close and gently touched his lips to mine. “That’s all right. You can come as many times as you want. Trust me, there will be many more orgasms from both of us before the day is over.”

Clay rolled his hips again and moaned loudly. It felt so good. Too good. And we hadn’t even gotten to the main event yet. Clay’s moans became more vocal, and the movements of his hips seemed to be more intense. It all added to my own pleasure, and when he looked down at me once again, his eyes were almost black. “Come with me. I want to feel you pulsing against me.”

I struggled to breathe, but then I couldn’t control my body any longer, and I did exactly as he’d suggested. I came. I groaned at the pleasure as it went through me, and when Clay’s movements stumbled and then he grunted, I could feel his cock throbbing between us. I would have been shocked, but I was experiencing too much pleasure to be anything but blissed out.

I wasn’t sure how long I lay there, but a cramp in my hand had me finally letting go of the bedding below me. I blinked a few times and found Clay smiling down at me, his eyes twinkling.

“I think actual sex is going to be the end of me.”

Clay chuckled and then leaned down and kissed me. He pulled away quickly, and I frowned up at him.

“I know I’m not the best kisser, but am I that terrible at it?”

“What? No. Why do you ask?”

“Because you’ve only given me a quick peck. I want to learn.”

Clay leaned down and kissed me again. His lips lingered a bit longer, but it still wasn’t a kiss like he’d given me before. “I’ll kiss you as much as you wish,” he said and then pressed his lips to mine again, and this time, I felt the familiar swipe of his tongue against mine.

I sighed into the kiss and tried to mirror his actions. I was a bit behind, but Clay responded as if he didn’t mind even a little. He tasted different this time, and I knew it was because of me. Because I had come in his mouth earlier. It didn’t bother me a bit, and I knew that the fact that Clay had done that wasn’t something that all alphas would.

I needed to breathe again, so I turned my head to the side and gasped for air. I really needed to figure out how to kiss and breathe at the same time. “I know this might not be the most romantic thing,” Clay said just before he gently kissed my neck. “But we’re a complete mess.” He lifted up a bit, and immediately, I felt the cool air from the AC hit between us. Gone was the warmth of his body, and in its place was the rapidly cooling mess.

I gasped. “Ah. Why would you do that?” I asked before I laughed. “That’s cold.” I felt a sensation and realized that it wasn’t staying put on my stomach. “Eww. It’s running down my side.”

Clay chuckled again, gave my neck another kiss, and then rolled. “That answers the question before I could ask it,” he said before standing. “Come on.” Clay simply leaned over and scooped me up from the center of the bed. “We’re going to pause this for a minute and have a shower. I promise there will be much more to come soon though.”

I didn’t know how to respond, so I simply held on to him as best as I could. “I’m not complaining,” I said. “I’m really not.”

Clay walked through a door and turned. “Would you get the light just there?”

I reached for the little light on the wall and flipped the switch. “I love that you have lighted switches. It really helps find things in the dark when you’re not familiar with the layout of the place.”

“I’m glad but can’t take credit. They were like that when I bought the place, and although I’m not the first owner, the house was only five years old when I bought it.”

Clay set me down inside his shower. It was a walk-in with no door, no shower curtain, but the showerhead was on the other side, and there was a tile wall that divided the shower from the rest of the bathroom.

“Do you like your shower lava hot or pleasantly warm? I don’t say cool because as my mate, there is no way that it can be cool.”

I laughed as I looked down at my stomach, which was starting to itch. At least I didn’t have the chest hair that Clay did. That had to tug and pull once it started to dry and glue the hair to his skin. “Honestly, I’d say pleasantly warm at the moment would be good since I have a feeling that this isn’t going to be a quick shower.”

Clay leaned down and kissed me. “Smart thinking,” he said quietly before he walked over and turned on the shower. His shower in here was the size of our entire bathroom in my apartment. Things were drastically different elsewhere as well. Just the size of his house was immense in comparison. I knew it wasn’t a competition though.

“So you’re forty?”

Clay looked back at me and nodded. “Is that too old?”

I shrugged. “It doesn’t matter what others might say or think. It’s a gap though.” I took in all the details of the shower. It was tiled and had a large enough but not too large built-in shelf. There was also a bench on the back side of the wall that hid the shower. It was nice.

“What are you thinking right now?” Clay asked as he came over to me. He started walking, and I followed easily enough.

I blinked up at him. “It’s easy to get caught up in things at the moment and then see things different when you take a step back.”

Clay’s body stiffened. “Are you saying you regret what we did?” I shook my head. “That’s what it sounds like.”

I shook my head again with more energy. “That wasn’t what I meant. At least I don’t think so. I’m younger than you,” I said. “I’m not where you are in life. That couldn’t be more apparent. You can tell simply by looking at our vehicles. Look at your house and where I lived. There are drastic differences.” I shrugged. “It’s a lot to take in. I’m not sure why this is hitting me now. Probably because you’re about to tie yourself to me and won’t be able to undo it.”
