She yawned seconds before her eyes fluttered open. She smiled up at me. “Not you rocked me to sleep,” she joked.
I winked at her. “I’m good at that. Come on. Let’s make our pizza.”
She climbed off my lap, and I followed her into the kitchen. We washed our hands before she pulled out all the ingredients. She turned on an R&B playlist while I preheated the oven. We decided to make our pizza in the shape of a heart. It was overly loaded with veggies and meat, so we decided to make two.
Leigh poured us both a glass of red wine that she said was really good. I stood between her legs with my chin resting on her chest. “Why you trying to run from me, Leigh? I don’t make you happy?”
She nodded once, her fingers brushing against my cheek comforting me. “You do, but you come from a different world. How do I fit into that?”
“Like you belong. Like the missing piece to the puzzle of my life. I need you,” I admitted softly. I rubbed my nose along the curve of her neck, inhaling her natural honey scent that I was addicted to.
She shook her head with a sad smile. “You’ve lived the last eleven years of your life without me. You do not need me.”
“Nah, I survived without you. There’s a difference.” I took her hand and placed it over my heart. “I can’t do another eleven without you. I haven’t been happy for a long time. You would think someone in the spotlight would never feel lonely, but it’s the most prominent feeling in my life, Valleigh. You think I’m trying to charm you when it’s so much deeper than that. You make me feel alive.”
I fell silent, realizing I was getting too deep into my feelings. I started to back away, but Leigh cupped her hand around the back of my neck and pulled me back into her. The kiss she placed on my lips sedated me. We got lost in it, accidentally knocking over my glass of wine.
“Shit!” I cursed before we started laughing. Leigh helped me clean it up before pouring me some more. She wrapped her arm around mine, and we took a sip of wine at the same time. The gaze we were locked in became stronger and more electrically charged.
Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” began to play, and Leigh got excited. I leaned against the counter, watching her dance and sing around the kitchen, using a spatula as a microphone. There was nowhere else I wanted to be other than watching her be so free. She came over to me and started dancing against me. I wrapped my arm around her waist, swaying to the beat in tandem with her.
We stayed like that, dancing until the oven beeped to let us know our pizzas were done. After making our own plates, we headed to the living room. I couldn’t even tell you what Leigh put on to watch, because I didn’t care. I just wanted to be around her.
After dinner, Leigh begged to do some skincare on me, and of course, I let her. We’d migrated to her bedroom, and I was leaning against her headboard. My favorite part was her sitting on my lap while she applied product after product. She was telling me about them, but her voice was so melodic that the shit sounded like music to me. I didn’t hear a word. When I was with Leigh, time didn’t exist. It was so easy to get lost in her magnetizing aura. I was happiest in this little bubble with her.
“Let me wear your chain,” she said out of nowhere. I didn’t even hesitate to take it off and place it around her neck. “It’s heavy,” she joked. I remained quiet, returning to my previous position. I liked my jewelry against her cinnamon complexion. She looked good as fuck in diamonds. I made a mental note of that as she climbed off me.
She went to the full length mirror in the corner of her room and started taking pictures of herself. I smiled because she looked so innocent. When she came back over, I said, “Send me those.”
Reaching for my phone off the nightstand, I powered it back on. I ignored every other notification as I waited for the photos to come through. I saved my favorite one as my screensaver. Going into Instagram, I uploaded the picture to my main feed with a simple caption: My Luna
“What did you do?” she asked, eyeing me suspiciously. I turned the phone around so she could see the post. “Symphony!” she shrieked with tears in her eyes. “Aww, babe.”
She understood the reference because she was the one obsessed with werewolves. “You’re my pack, Valleigh.”
She nodded, allowing her tears to fall on her cheeks. She palmed my face with a grin. “You’re mine too, Sym.”
That was all I needed to hear to flip us over so that she was lying on her back, staring up at me. I got lost in her eyes as I bent down to place a kiss on her lips. “You are mine, Leigh.Mine!Ain’t no runnin’ from this shit, baby.” While I was talking, I pushed her pajama shorts to the side and eased my dick where it needed to be. She cooed as I pushed inside her. When I was seated deeply inside her, we sighed simultaneously. She glanced up at me with stars in her eyes. “We’re fated mates,” I whispered before I nailed her ass to the cross.

VALLEIGH
The sunlight streaming through my curtains woke me from my deep slumber. As my body powered on, I became alarmingly aware of a presence beside me. A soft snore reminded me that I’d fallen asleep in Sym’s arms last night. After posting that picture, he’d done things to my body I didn’t even know were possible. Sleep was the only option after making my body succumb to immense waves of pleasure.
I gently lifted his arm from around me so that I could hurry to the bathroom to relieve my bladder. Once I was finished in the bathroom, I went to the kitchen to make us some breakfast. I knew Sym enjoyed black coffee, so I got a pot started for him. I turned on my music but kept the volume low so I wouldn’t disturb his sleep.
I was finishing up the eggs when I felt his lips on my cheek. I was too lost in the beautiful voice of Sade as she sang “Ordinary Love” to notice he’d come into the kitchen. I smiled while turning in his arms.
“Good morning,” I greeted him bashfully.
“Good morning, beautiful. All of this for little ol’ me?” he teased.
I nodded. “Indeed, it is. Sit down. You’re actually right on time.”
While he went to sit down, I got started on his plate. I piled it with French toast, eggs, bacon, and sausage, then I poured him a glass of orange juice. After making my plate, I joined him at my island. I turned the music down, then we held hands for grace.
“What’s on your agenda for the day?” I asked him.
