The room broke out into laughter, and Flora patted my cheek as we all lay there in the nest, our scents swirling together. Still, none were quite as strong as Flora’s, which was all over the bed, and I drank in that perfume, allowing it to restore some of my expended energy.

“We’re all officially bonded now,” Bear said, and I smiled at Flora as she grinned up at him. He’d taken a seat at the top of the bed, near her head, and was idly stroking our omega’s hair. “How’s it feel, little omega?”

Flora sighed, pulling her shoulders up to her ears. After a moment, she opened her eyes, casting a contented glance at all of us.

“Incredible.” She looked at me. “And, admittedly, I’m very sore, too.”

“I suggest cuddles and baths and a chill night in,” Chase offered, nuzzling into Flora’s neck as he swept his fingers up and down her arm.

“Doeschilledmean more time in the nest, knotting me?” Flora smirked over her shoulder at him.

“Yes. Yes, it does.”

We all laughed again, and she nodded as she tried to move her top leg into a more comfortable position. I helped by leaning in, scooping it over my hip, and stroking.

“I like that plan,” she said. “But there will definitely be baths and snacks before round two. I’m depleted.”

I turned down the corners of my lips, agreeing with our girl. “Snacks are a must. And right now…” Clearing my throat, I glanced up at Bear. “… you’re the only one able to move.”

He rolled his eyes, groaning as he struggled to get off the bed without kneeing any of us in the head.

“Sure, make me do all the cooking. This is your job next time. I’ll be the one all cozy in Flora’s pussy while you make snacks.”

“Bear!” Flora smacked his knee, reaching over me, which of course shoved her down on my knot again, making the somewhat successful deflating disappear.

“Ugh, Flora,” I ground out, grabbing her hips. “No more moving.”

“Oops!” She turned to me with a look of mischief. “I’m sorry!”

I cupped her cheek, kissing her forehead. “You’re going to be trouble, aren’t you?”

“Of course.” She grinned.

“But we’re going to love every minute of it,” Chase panted, and I hummed in agreement.

Flora hummed in agreement. “I’m going to remind you of that the next time we butt heads.”

I chuckled, and Bear disappeared behind me, thankfully kind enough to actually get provisions for us. It was going to be a while before I could leave this bed at this rate.

And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Chapter 50

Flora

“My mother has been calling.” I grimaced. The last time I checked, there were thirty-six missed calls.

“Your name was on the news. She may be concerned,” Chase suggested as he washed my hair.

I hadn’t showered alone since Lyle had kidnapped me, and I wasn’t mad at that. One of them was always with me, caring for me.

“I suppose. She’s just a lot to deal with, and the last thing I want is her coming here and talking badly about my pack. Can’t I enjoy our bubble for a bit?” I asked, craning my neck to kiss his cheek.

“Of course. We are going to do whatever is best for you, always.”

I sighed, sinking into his embrace. The shower smelled of rose and rich ginger, a heady mix. Being pampered by Chase had turned me into a pile of goo, and all I wanted to do was nap.

Bonding and being happy were oddly exhausting.
