He kisses my cheek. My arm snakes around his neck, and I use him for my pleasure.
My arousal means I reach the edge of orgasm at record pace. Niki’s leather chair creaks beneath my bare knees. His thumb rubs my clit. He grips my thigh, squeezing it as I ride him, leaving his mark on my flesh.
“Are you going to let me come this time?” My belly coils with impending orgasm.
My thighs burn as I ride him.
I taste the sex in the air and his scent on my skin.
His dick is so fucking deep.
He gives me a quick spank, and I cry out, moaning his name.
“Yes,” he cries. “Now fucking kiss me.”
Our lips crash as I go to the edge and fall into overwhelming bliss. My whole body explodes into tiny stars. He holds me against him. My muscles scream their release, and myeyes water. Every nerve under my skin is sensitive. He strokes me, heightening my orgasm.
My nails dig into his scalp as I feast on his mouth.
My body is broken. I can’t stop trembling as he climaxes, and a warmth fills me. As sweat drips down my body, it cools my skin. I shiver against his nearly fully clothed body.
“You’re beautiful,” he whispers.
CHAPTER 63
Niki
“How are you?” Connor asks through my car speaker as I park outside Rosie’s place.
I let the air conditioning chill my skin one last time before opening the door to the wave of early June heat.
I switch the phone to the handset. “I couldn’t be better. Therapy is great, my health anxiety is improving, and I’m close to returning to the old Niki.” Sweat beads my forehead. It must be the heat and not the impact of that statement. It has to be a good thing to be who I was. “I can’t believe there’s only three races left before the summer break. What are your plans for the break?”
“Senna promised we can return to my holiday home on the lake. You should visit. Bring Graham and anyone else you might have in your life,” he says, cajoling me to share more.
“Maybe I will. I’m taking Tabi to a cinema party soon. Rosie and I will sit at the back to ensure she’s okay.”
“Make sure you behave,” he teases. “You used to do filthy things in a cinema. Not that you ever dated a single mum.”
“It will be full of kids. We won’t even kiss.” I flipmy cap backwards. “And I may not have dated a single mum in the past, but I’ve changed. I want a big family with her. It’s too soon to say that, but I do. I’m falling for her.”
“I love this for you, man. When are you going to tell her?”
“Soon, but Rosie needs actions, not words. The best thing I can do to show her I’m good enough for her is to keep turning up.”
A squeal drags my attention, and I look at Rosie’s apartment window. Tabi waves wildly. The bracelet we made to give her courage for today clatters loudly. I wave back and beam like a man who’s been offered the world and given the universe, especially when Rosie peeks her head out. Her smile captures my soul.
“We’ll be down in a minute,” she shouts. As she and Tabi disappear, my chest hurts with a pressure I don’t understand. I can’t miss them already.
“What are you doing today?” I stutter to Connor.
“Senna booked the trampoline park near town,” Connor explains. “We’re going to bounce until we can’t breathe. It’s the Hungarian Grand Prix in a few weeks, and this will help my overthinking about returning there after what happened last year.”
“Although I miss racing, as the reserve driver, I beg you not to do anything stupid today.”
“I make no promises. There are other races you could drive in. It doesn’t have to be Formula One. Or race for another team. If teams learned you were available, they’d jump at the chance to have you.”
I run the Belle bracelet in my pocket between my fingers. “I’ve only driven for Coulter. And there’s the travel and Graham. Besides, I have ties here. What about Rosie?”
