“You guys seriously have to stop scaring us. I'm just going to get bells and put them on you.” Rhylie says, holding her chest. Mason opens his mouth like he's going to say something stupid.
“Not a word Mason, leave your sister alone, or you're sleeping on the couch tonight.”
Mason’s holding up his hands with an innocent look on his face. “Hey, I wasn't going to say anything bad. I was going to apologize for scaring you guys.”
We all snort at that and the guys say “lies” at the same time making us laugh. Walking over to Victor I wrap my arms around his waist. “Hey, how did it go? You didn't overdo it did you?”
“It went fine, you didn't have much left to bring and the guys made sure I didn't lift anything too heavy. Though they did give me shit for it asking if I want them to carry my purse as well. Assholes that they are. Did you and Kat get your logo picked out?”
“We did, we picked the same one. Sky’s gonna start doing them tomorrow. Come on, it looks like everyone is getting ready to leave.” We walk back over to everyone noticing Katya is fast asleep in the lounge chair. Pointing, Victor walks over and carries her into the house. “Are you guys leaving already?”
“Ya early day for me tomorrow, I have the delivery coming in. We're going to have to make this a regular thing taking turns at each house.”
“Oh, I like that idea of regular family gatherings. That reminds me I'll swing by after dropping Kat to school to stock the display. I made some mini pies so we'll see how well they do. Alright, guys thank you for coming. I'll see you tomorrow.” Giving everyone a hug. I walk them to the front of the house watching as they get into their cars Victor comes up behind me we both wave bye. We walked back into the house, heading to the back to make sure nothing was left outside, and put out the fire pit. Putting the rest of the dishes inside I can hear soft music playing wondering where it's coming from. I walk back out and Victor is standing there with his hand out, a smile on his face.
“Will you dance with me, Isabella?” Walking back down the steps I place my hand in his, letting him pull me into his arms.
“I would love to dance with you. But what brought this on?” We hold each other, just swaying to the soulful music, singing about love and finally finding forever.
“Can’t I just want to dance with you? Besides, I love it when you're in my arms.” Nothing else is said, after that no words are needed. I feel peace being in the arms of the man I love with my heart and soul. It makes me feel like I'm floating on a cloud. The song comes to an end making us stop.
“Marry me Isabella.” Pulling back in shock because I wasn't expecting that.
“What did you say?” I whisper out. Not wanting to speak too loud. I can feel how fast my heart is racing at this moment.
“Marry me. Become my wife, the mother of my children. I want it all with you. I want to wake up next to you till we are old and grey, calling me a stubborn man till the end. I love you so damn much. Isabella Lewis, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?”
He pulls out the most beautiful ring I've seen. White gold with a center-cut princess diamond with little diamonds surrounding it. He slips the ring on my finger and it's a perfect fit. Tears are streaming from my eyes. “Yes, I'll marry you Victor. I love you so much.” He lifts me and I wrap my legs around him, needing to be close to him at the moment. His kisses are soft, full of love pouring our hearts out to each other. This moment couldn't have been more perfect. He carries me in the house and up the stairs to our bedroom laying me gently on the bed.
“I love you Isabella. Now I do believe that I said something about many orgasms tonight. Are you ready for me?” I watch as he starts stripping off his clothes. Licking my lips I say the only thing I can.
“Bring it on big man, show me what you got.”
Boy did he show me multiple times, four to be exact. There's something to be said about throwing a challenge at your alpha male.
Chapter 8
Four weeks later
I'm currently sitting in the bathroom on the edge of the tub looking at the positive pregnancy test. I've skipped my period and with the number of times Victor and I go at it, this doesn't surprise me at all. I'm happy and I know Victor will be as well. We've talked about having a baby for a long time, now just to come up with a way to tell him. The day he proposed was one of the happiest days of my life. It didn't take long for us to go to the courthouse that weekend and say I do in front of our family. We didn't want to wait and so we ended up having a little gathering afterward in the backyard with tons of food and laughs. To me, that day was perfect. I didn't need to spend a lot of money on a wedding, just the people who mean the most to us. Every day with Victor gets better and better. He surprises me with date nights. We even do date nights with Katya just us being a family together. It's those moments I'll cherish forever. Katya and I do our girl's day as well. Shopping, nails, and lunch. After the disaster of bringing Victor once with us, we now leave him at home. He growled at every single male that looked my way. Today he's gone to the doctor to get the all-clear then going to the station to talk to them about when he's coming back. He's mostly healed now and I for one can't wait for him to go back to work. I love him. I do and I loved spending time with him at home but he is driving both Katya and myself nuts with how bored he is. He tends to find stuff to do around the house. I then end up having to call someone in to fix it, handy he is not. Those are the times he will leave and come back with some form of baking supply as an apology for breaking something. I've gotten so many since he's been home that we had to get more shelves put in the basement just to store the stuff. Today is the day we are doing the photoshoot and Katya is currently getting her hair done by Faith while Rhylie is setting up downstairs. An idea comes to mind. I can use this photoshoot to do it. Putting the test in the garbage I wash my hands and head downstairs. Heading into the kitchen I grab a few cupcakes and get to work. Skylar and Rhylie walk into the kitchen just as I'm finishing up. Placing them in the box I turn to them and show them. “So what do you guys think? Do you think we can take a few more pictures and have them printed today?” On six cupcakes spells out you're going to be a daddy with a heart on the last one. I'll have Katya holding it and make it seem like he's seeing the pictures we are using today. They both look down at them gasping.
“OMG! You're pregnant. Congratulations Isabella. Don't you worry I'll have this picture printed today for you?” Rhylie says while wiping the tears from her eyes. Skylar comes over and hugs me.
“Victor is going to lose his mind. Make sure you record his reaction. I'm so happy for you guys. I can't believe we're all pregnant together.” We're all laughing and crying, Faith and Katya walk down the stairs.
“So what do we think of princess Kat?” Faith waves her arm showing off her work. She's done an excellent job with her hair and tiara. She's wearing a blue sparkly dress with her rhinestone converse shoes. Her hair is curled with a tiara completing the look.
“Oh, you look beautiful Kat just like a princess. Thank you Faith for doing this. Now, what do you think of these?” Showing her the box it takes her a minute to get what it says her head shoots up and she's already got tears in her eyes.
“I'm so happy for you.”
“Why is everyone crying and happy?” Katya asks with a confused look on her face. I place the cupcakes down and bend to her level. Taking her hands in mine.
“What do you think about being a big cousin?” I place my hand on my stomach and she starts to squeal.
“Yay! I'm going to be the best big cousin ever. I'll even babysit for you. But I won't change the stinky diapers.” She scrunches up her nose making us all laugh. “I love you, Auntie Bella.” she throws her little arms around my neck.
“I love you too Kat. Now I need your help with the special surprise for your uncle. Here's what I want to do.” After that, we get right down to the pictures being taken. Katya is a natural in front of the camera. It doesn't take us long to get the shot that we will need for both. They turned out amazing especially with the princess castle in the background, playing well with the name and theme. “These turned out amazing. Thank you guys so much for being here and helping me. It means a lot to me.”
