“ Mason, move.” he starts slowly pulling in and out, my nerves setting on fire. It won't take me long to get off. I squeeze my inner muscles and that sets him on a punishing pace, all I can do is hold on. Our kisses are sloppy and wet, me sucking his tongue in my mouth. I bite down on his lip and pull. This is a raw, dirty fucking and I love it when he losses control with me. I can feel myself climbing high, I just need a little bit more.

“Fucking made for me Angel. Every time I sink my dick in you, it's like coming home. Come for me, Faith.”

He rubs my clit in hard circles and that's all it takes for me to let go. Screaming out my release, Mason thrusts two times and yells my name as he fills me up. Slumping on his shoulder breathing heavily, “I love you, Mason.”

“I love you too Angel. Let's get you upstairs and I'll draw you a bath so you can relax before bed.” kissing my head, we walk up the stairs. I’m clinging to him because that sapped all my energy but a bath sounds nice. Maybe I can convince him to join me. He sets me down on the bed while he goes filling up the tub. Standing up. I take the rest of my clothes off and throw them in the hamper. Walking in the bathroom, I see the tub filled with bubbles and the light turned down to a soft glow. Smiling at him, I walk to the tub and he helps me in. I sink down and let the warm water loosen my muscles. Holding out my hand to Mason, I ask him. “Will you join me?”

“Sure Angel. I’ll be right back. I just have to go get something.”He walks into the bedroom and comes back a minute later with something in his hand, which he's hiding. He steps into the tub behind me and wraps his arms around me.

“Scoot up a bit.” He grabs my loofa, adding my favorite body wash, and starts washing my body. I don’t think I've ever felt more loved than this moment right now. It's the little things he does that make me love him more every day. Once he's done, he sets it to the side and wraps his arms around me again. We sit in silence and for once, I don't need the noise of people talking. Closing my eyes, I'm just about to fall asleep when Mason starts talking.

“I was going to wait to do this but after today I don't think I can. I need you tied to me in all ways.”

Turning around to look at him I ask. “What are you talking about Mason?”

He reaches over the tub and grabs a small velvet box. Sucking in a sharp breath, my throat is clogged and I can feel tears gathering. “Mason,” I whisper. He opens the box and my hands fly to my mouth. Inside is the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. White gold with an oval-cut diamond with little diamonds surrounding it.

“I know you deserve more than me doing this in a bathtub but I just can't wait anymore. I love you so fucking much Faith. You're the air I breathe. If you ever left I wouldn't survive it.”

“YES!” I scream. I know he wasn't done but I couldn't hold it in anymore. Tears are streaming down my face.

“I wasn't done talking woman. I had this whole thing planned out what I wanted to say. But what I do know was I wasn't taking no for an answer. I love you, Faith. Today you've made me the happiest man alive. First, finding out we're having a baby, and to you saying yes.”

Mason slips the ring on my finger and it's a perfect fit. I know at that moment I don't want to wait to get married and I tell him so. “I don't want to wait to get married. I don't need anything big. I just need the people that mean the most to us to be there.”

“Are you sure that's what you want?”

“Ya, it is. I don't want to waste any more time. I want to be your wife.” Mason holds my face in his hands and leans down to kiss me, pouring all his emotions into this one kiss. It's slow and sweet. Pulling back, he kisses my forehead.

“Whatever you want to do, we’ll do. Let's get to bed, it's getting late.” He lifts me out of the tub and sets me on the counter to dry me off. Carrying me back into the bedroom, he lays me down on my side and gets into bed, spooning me from behind.“Goodnight Angel, I love you”

“I love you too” I whisper right before I pass out.

Faith

Gathering my laptop, I throw it in my bag. I’m running behind. I’m leaving work early because I'm showing someone the house. They sent me an email early this morning showing interest. Hopefully, I can close soon and move on with that chapter in my life. It’s bittersweet, letting go of the house but I know Mom would want me to move on. Mason is meeting me there since he doesn’t want me to go alone. He's still paranoid about what has happened and not being able to find the person yet. He made me promise him when I left this morning that I would call on my way to the house so he can be there as well. I grab my bag and rush to the front, spotting Ry with a cup of coffee in her hand passing it to me as I walk up to her.

“Here, I thought you could use one while showing the house.”

“You are a lifesaver. Thank you, I didn’t think I would have time to make one before I left. I’m running behind as it is. Plus I still have to call your brother because he doesn’t want me going alone.” Rhylie rolls her eyes as she knows exactly what I’m talking about.

“Men. I swear they think we can’t do anything without them. They go all alpha male anytime we try to do something. Though just saying, when Lucas goes all alpha the sex is off the charts hot. So I tend to do something that makes him go like that now. I’m pretty sure he’s caught on to me doing it too but he hasn’t said anything. Anyways, go before you're late. Try not to stress out too much, you’ve got this. Call me when you're done and let me know how it goes.”

“So true about the alpha sex! Thanks, Ry, I’ll text you later.” Walking out the front door, I start laughing because I can hear Rhylie gagging at the thought of what I said about her brother. Unlocking my car door, I put in my Bluetooth headphones and started the engine. My old house is less than ten minutes away from the cafe. Pulling out of the parking lot, I head in the direction of the house. Dialing Mason’s number, it rings four times before he picks up.

“Hey, Angel, I’m running ten minutes behind. I'm just finishing up this last bit of paperwork and I’ll be there. Are you almost at your old house?”

“Hey. yeah, I’m just turning down the street now. Thank God for no traffic because I’m running behind myself. I got lost in paperwork today and didn’t realize the time. You don’t have to come Mason. I'm sure I can handle this myself anyway. I’m just showing this person around. They sounded really interested in it from the pictures we posted. The lady said in the email that they are expecting and looking for their forever home.” I can hear him growling into the phone. I roll my eyes as I pull into my old driveway but I don’t see anyone else. I guess they are running late as well. Checking the time to make sure I'm not late, I have a few minutes to spare. Getting out of the car I grab my key to the house and walk up the stairs.

“I’ll be there Faith. Just let me do this. I'll feel better being with you. Keep me on the phone until I get there. I'm leaving in less than five minutes.”

“Fine. I'll keep you on the line, although I'm just saying that I think you're overreacting a little bit. What do you think is going to happen? After we're done here, can we go get a burger please? I’ve been craving one all day.” Unlocking the front door, I walk in and just stop. It's such a weird feeling being back here. It's as if all the warmth and love no longer lingers anymore. It's cold and empty. Closing the door, I walk further into the house. Something feels off and it's starting to freak me out. Maybe I should just wait outside for the person. Turning around to walk back out, I hear a floorboard creak and I freeze in my spot. I strain to listen for it again. The sound comes again but it's much closer this time. “Mason, something isn't right.” Turning around, I come face to face with Henry, my mom’s old nurse. In his hands is a big knife. I whisper out “Henry,” I can hear Mason shouting at me on the line telling me he's coming for me. Now I'm thanking God right now that he suggested staying on the phone with me because this is bad. At least now, I know he will come with backup.

“Hello, Faith. It's so lovely to see you again. I've been waiting for you.”

“Henry, what are you doing here? Why are you holding that knife?” You can hear my voice shake as I hear Mason.

“Fuck. I'm almost there. Keep him talking but stay away from him if you can. Try and lock yourself in a room.” I can hear his car door slamming, praying that he gets here quickly.
