‘Iamliving my best life.’ She shoots me a grin.
After almost two hours in the water and seven different outfit changes, my skin is turning blue and my teeth are chattering despite the afternoon sun. Savannah’s nipples are like bullets, and I am dying to do something about it.
‘That’s a wrap,’ Susie shouts, beckoning us out of the sea.
‘You did it, baby. You faced all your fears today.’ My hand slides across Savannah’s peachy ass as we wade out of the water.
‘I know.’ Her head angles up towards mine, the sunlight dancing over her cheekbones. ‘Thank you for facing them with me.’
‘You look like you need a hot bath.’ I grab the thick fluffy Coral Chic towel Susie hands me and wrap it around Savannah’s body, pulling her into me. Cameras click behind us, despite the formal shoot being over.
‘I’d love one. But we have an interview to do first,’ Savannah reminds me.
‘I’ve spent the entire day counting the seconds until I can bend you over, devour you, and then fuck you until you scream,’ I rasp in her ear.
She sucks in a short breath. ‘There’s that filthy mouth I love again.’
‘You’re going to love it even more when it’s devouring your pussy.’
‘Better not say that on camera. Coral Chic ambassadors are supposed to be “wholesome”.’ Savannah uses her fingers to make an air quote, then presses a kiss to the tip of my nose.
‘Let’s do this.’ The quicker we get it done, the quicker I can do her.
Lucas steps in front of an iPad secured by a freestanding ring light and taps the screen. He counts down with his fingers to show we’re going live. He lets it run for a few minutes, presumably to maximise the viewers. Eventually, he clears his throat and starts.
‘Hi, I’m Lucas Beechwood coming to you from Coral Chic’s swimwear shoot at Velvet Strand beach. I’m sure most of you are aware of the scandal surrounding our new brand ambassador, Savannah Kingsley, this week.’ He pauses for dramatic effect, beckoning us over.
She had to take the lead on facing Finn. She’s not going to have to take the lead on this, too. As we stride forwards, I keep my arms firmly wrapped around Savannah’s shoulders.
‘This is so weird,’ I mutter in her ear as we stand in front of the iPad, and she giggles.
‘Don’t worry, I’ll do all the talking. I know you hate it.’She steps in front of me, her back flush to my front, both of us still wet from the water.
‘Do I just talk into the camera like someone is actually listening?’ I frown. The sun isn’t helping with the visibility.
Lucas laughs. ‘Someoneisactually listening.’ Lucas laughs and points to a number at the corner of the screen, which is increasing by the thousands with every passing second.
Savannah opens her mouth to speak, but I silence her with a quick, fleeting kiss.
Lucas clears his throat pointedly and nods towards the numbers again. ‘Okay, well in that case, I’m here to tell you that I am in love with the woman many of you know as Single Sav. Coral Chic’s brand ambassador. And Lucas, you couldn’t have picked a better one to represent your business.
‘I became obsessed with Savannah the day she totalled my Aston Martin two years ago, and I’m still obsessed with her.’
Her cheeks flush crimson as she grins. ‘The feeling is mutual.’
‘She came to me looking for swimming lessons to prepare for this very shoot, but we ended up falling in love. Savannah has experienced a huge backlash for coming out as my girlfriend. She’s been called a hypocrite by people who are supposed to be her fans. She’s not a hypocrite. The woman is a goddamn hero.’
‘Language. Wholesome, remember,’ Lucas murmurs.
‘She was hurt so badly by the father of her children, she thought she’d never let anyone in again. The fact that she’s brave enough to do so now shouldn’t be condemned, it should be applauded.’
Savannah squirms next to me, and I tilt my head to face her instead of the stupid camera. ‘It’s true, baby. I love you so much. I’m so proud of you.’
I catch her lips with mine and Lucas hits a button to end the live broadcast.
‘Well, that will give them something to think about,’ Lucas chuckles. ‘I fully expect the new range to sell out in seconds. We might be a wholesome business, but sex still sells, and you two are radiating it.’
He’s not wrong. Which is why we need to go home and make the most of the girls being at their sleepover.
