He offered up the snack to Sean, who took it gratefully and bit into it. The meat was spicy, and the cheese an aged cheddar that paired well with Alexei’s choice. Alexei picked up both glasses of champagne and handed one to Sean. Then he clinked the sides together and downed half of it.

“Pretty sure that was a thousand-dollar bottle of champagne,” Sean said with a laugh.

“Is on Jamie’s account. Have million dollars to spend.”

“I don’t think it’s quite that much, but I’d like to see you try to spend it all.”

“We play cards. Can sit on lap while I win big.”

“I’m not going to be your lucky charm.”

“Always lucky with you.”

Alexei reached out and curled a finger through Sean’s belt loop, pulling him closer. Sean tilted his head back to accept the kiss, the fruity, dry taste of the champagne mingling on their tongues. Sean tugged on Alexei’s shirt with his free hand as his husband kissed him breathless.

“You going to leave me for the card table?” Sean murmured against his lips.

Alexei took their glasses and set them back on the table. “Nyet.”

Sean let Alexei lead him to the master bedroom in the suite. The room was spacious, overlooking the beach with its gentle waves churned by the wave-making machines built into the edge of the biodome. The manufactured wind that blew through the open french doors was warm for December. It wasn’t quite tropical, but it was a far cry from the cold of Boston they’d left behind hours ago.

Sean was sure the room as a whole was nice, but he was more interested in the bed that Alexei pushed him down onto. Sean propped himself up on his elbows to watch Alexei strip out of his clothes. His mouth watered at the sight of all that muscle becoming exposed, and all he wanted to do was run his hands and mouth over that expanse of warm skin.

“Should get undressed,” Alexei said as he hooked his thumbs over the top of his underwear.

Sean watched him drag the underwear down over his thighs in a teasing manner, freeing his cock. “You should probably help with that.”

“Do all work in marriage.”

Sean laughed. “That’s what a husband is for, Lyosha.”

Alexei’s gray eyes darkened at the word, and Sean’s heart felt as if it skipped a beat in his chest at the possessive look in his husband’s gaze.

“Like that,” Alexei said as he started to undo Sean’s belt. “Say again.”

“Husband?”

Alexei nodded, yanking the belt free and tossing it aside. He cupped Sean’s cock through his jeans, giving it a good squeeze, and Sean canted his hips upward with a gasp. “Mean you’re mine.”

“I took your name, remember?”

Alexei’s smile was absolutelyfilthyas he stripped Sean’s jeans off. “Da.”

It had been an easy decision for Sean to make when the subject was brought up one night in bed. Most people he knew these days didn’t change their surnames when they married, if they married at all. But Sean had wanted to carry a piece of Alexei with him always aside from the ring on his finger.

Sean grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it off, arching his back to remove it. Warm lips pressed against his sternum, dragging downward as Alexei licked down his chest. Sean tossed the shirt aside in favor of running his hands over Alexei’s broad shoulders, spreading his legs in order to pull his husband closer and give him room.

Alexei settled against him, their hardening cocks rubbing together. Sean carded his fingers through Alexei’s hair before giving it a firm tug. “Lyosha.”

“Hm?”

“Go find the lube.”

Alexei heaved a dramatic sigh, though the smile on his face belied any feigned annoyance. “Pushy.”

“The faster you find it, the faster you can fuck me.”

The room was momentarily blocked out by Alexei as he leaned over Sean to give him a slow, deep kiss. “Take my time with you.”
