“I hope you’re not going to cook like that,” Sean said, eyeing where Alexei’s dick hung between his legs. He unconsciously licked his lips. “Hot oil might not be a goodthing.”

Alexei shrugged as he opened the refrigerator and bent over, putting his perfect ass on display. “Makesandwiches.”

Sean nearly ran into the small dining table in his haste to sit down and enjoy the view. “Uh,sure.”

He was treated to the rather spectacular sight of Alexei making him food, in his tiny kitchen, while naked. It was definitely a first for Sean, bringing a guy as hot as Alexei home with him. Hell, bringing him home in general was a huge step for Sean. Half his family had never stepped foot in his apartment, and thinking of them quieted the slow-growing lust building upagain.

“Have thought on mind?” Alexei asked with a faint quirk of his mouth as he handed Sean a plate with a roast beef sandwich that had all the usual fixings, even the potato chips, stuffedinsideit.

Before Sean could respond, a name flashed across the bioware embedded in Alexei’s left forearm. Sean couldn’t read the Cyrillic, but he didn’t want Alexei to miss a call if it was from his family and gestured for him toanswer.

“Allo,” Alexei said. “Kilyusha, chto tyhochesh'?”

Sean listened with half an ear as Alexei conversed rapidly with his brother. He thought it was funny that Alexei didn’t care about manners when dealing with Kyle. Alexei chewed his way through two full bites of his sandwich while talking and listening before he finally switched over toEnglish.

“Can put on system?” he asked, gesturing vaguely up at theceiling.

Sean nodded. “Computer, authorize call link with AlexeiDvorkin.”

“Call link authorized,” the attending computer confirmed, its automated voice coming through the speakers embedded in the ceiling. “Waiting onsignal.”

Alexei’s bioware synced up to Sean’s system and moments later Kyle’s voice echoed through the room. “Sean, my brother can’t make a decision to save his goddamn life, so pick aflavor.”

“Can so,” Alexeiretorted.

Sean’s eyebrows crept upward in surprise. “Uh…I’m not sure I want to get in the middle of yourargument.”

“Look, Jamie is buying Alexei coffee as an apology for following orders and not being in Las Vegas with you guys when shit went down. Pick a flavor so he can stop sulking around the condo and feelbetter.”

“I don’t sulk!” came Jamie’s muffled shout overtheline.

“He sulks,” Kyle said, sounding more fondly amused than exasperated. “Pick aflavor,Sean.”

“I only had it the one time in London. I wouldn’t know what’s good,”Seansaid.

“Oh, for fuck’s sake.” Kyle raised his voice. “Jamie! They don’t know, so just pick it outyourself!”

Alexei covered up his laughter with a cough. “Bossy.”

“Shutup.”

Alexei said something in Russian that Sean didn’t understand. Kyle responded in the same language, and the quick back and forth between them ended a minute later. Kyle switched back to English and said, “Goodbye, I’m not coming home tonight, and put some fucking pants on,Lyosha.”

The call cut off. Alexei took another bite of his sandwich, in no hurry to listen to his littlebrother.

“I thought Kyle lived with Jamie?”Seansaid.

“When Jamie not on campaign trail, they live together. Otherwise, Kilyusha moan and groan on couchathome.”

“How long have they beentogether?”

“Almost fullyearnow.”

Alexei seemed happy about that, and Sean couldn’t blame him. It was difficult finding and keeping a relationship when one was constantly deployed. Sean had firsthand experiencewiththat.

“You know, you’re the first person I’ve brought home? I don’t normally do this,” Sean confessedquietly.

“So you say. Glad to be here, no matter whatwedo.”
