“That’s hot! Do you think he’s that decisive in bed?” she asked, looking over his shoulder.

“Without a doubt,” he replied without thinking.

Laura cracked up laughing, while Felix felt like his face was going to burn off. What was he supposed to do? He’d already agreed to go round, so he couldn’t back out now. Felix sent his address to Ryder and got a thumbs-up reply. He rushed off to his bedroom to get changed. Although nothing was going to happen, he could still look good. Laura helped him pick out an outfit. The jeans which hugged his ass perfectly and rode nicely on his waist, as well as a dark red jockstrap—because why not—topped off with a forest-green sweater, and a vest underneath so he didn’t have wool rubbing against his sensitive nipples. Laura suggested his dark brown loafers, which seemed a little dressy for the occasion, but he trusted her judgement with clothes. She always looked immaculate. His phone pinged.

Ryder:Your car is outside. It’s a black Lincoln.

“He’s sent a Lincoln. That’s a fucking town car. I thought it would be an Uber.”

“Oh my God, it’s likePretty Woman,” said Laura, gushing.

“Again, not a whore!”

Ryder:Don’t even think about bringing that camera with you!

“Fuck!”

“What?”

He showed her the message, and she laughed.

“It’s not funny,” he scowled.

“Just talk to him. You can debate the camera thing later. Get your ass going, so you can get your ass going!”

He tried to glare at her, but couldn’t stop the laughter. After dithering for a second, he left the camera and grabbed a jacket. He took his wallet, as he’d be coming home on the subway. The last thing he expected was for Ryder to arrange his ride home as well.

The car was incredible, and he felt underdressed when he walked out. The driver got out and opened the door for him, and once he was buckled up in the back, he was whisked into the city to Ryder’s apartment. The last time he’d been here,he’d stormed out like a drama queen. Now he was going back, this time at night. What was he thinking? There wasn’t much he could do about it now.

Within twenty minutes, the car door was being opened for him, and he was outside Ryder’s apartment building. They had security on the front desk, and once he gave his name he was told to go straight up in the elevator. His heart was beating like crazy, unsure what was going to happen. Every single scenario had been played out in his brain, and they all ended up with orgasms. He would need to work on his self-control.

He stepped off the elevator and when he turned, Ryder was standing at his apartment door smiling at him. He was wearing a tight black T-shirt that stretched across his muscular chest, his beard was shaved close, and he looked sexy as fuck. Those intense brown eyes were focussed on Felix.

Ryder pushed himself off the doorframe he’d been leaning against, and Felix noticed he was wearing gray sweatpants. A noticeable bulge moved, and Felix couldn’t help but shiver.

“Thank you for coming over,” he said, extending his hand.

Felix held out his, and Ryder used it to yank him forward. He smiled at Felix, showing off his perfect teeth. The man was perfection. He bent forward and gently kissed Felix on the cheek. It felt more intimate than if he’d stuck his tongue down his throat.

“I’m pleased to see you didn’t bring the camera. I like that you follow orders.”

Ryder needed to stop speaking like that, or Felix was going to cum in his pants. Felix had no idea what Ryder was into. He’d been fairly vanilla before, although Sam had liked things rough. Felix shuddered, thinking about him.

“Are you okay, Felix?” Ryder looked at him, concerned.

“Yeah, just a random shiver.”

“Let’s get you a warm drink, then. Or did you want somethingharder?”

Felix couldn’t help but laugh.

“There’s that gorgeous smile again. Do you fancy a hot chocolate?”

Felix nodded and followed Ryder into his kitchen diner, which was vast. The whole place was enormous. The windows gave magnificent views of the city at night, and with all the Christmas lights everywhere, it had that bit of extra magic to it. He admired the view while Ryder busied himself in the kitchen. It was helping to calm his nerves. Why had he come here again? It was supposed to be about giving back the camera, but Ryder had taken that option off the table. He needed to stop thinking and just go with whatever happened. That’s what Laura would say to him if she were here.

The smell of melting chocolate was causing his mouth to keep filling with saliva. There was a hint of something else fragrant as well. It was like a blend of ginger, cinnamon, and orange. It smelled like Christmas. Felix used to love Christmas, but it had lost some of its sparkle thanks to his family. The buildup was great, with all the buzz and excitement, but the day itself was something he wanted to be over as quickly as possible. Felix and Laura spent it together, but all they had was pizza. They couldn’t get takeout on the day as their favourite places were closed, so they usually bought something that required minimal effort for cooking.

“Here you go,” said Ryder, startling him.
